I am a muppet!!!

Because we bathed the girls before dinner I put them straight in pj's.. but Squeak wears a pullup to bed which I didn't want her to be wearing for 2 hours before bed and it was forgotten at bed time.. cue VERY VERY wet, unhappy girl.. she is now bathed, medicine, bedding changed and back snoring.. but I'm a twit!

Pixie has about 5 spots on her neck and 1 behind her knee and Dot has about 10 tiny ones.. Sadly we don't miss a visit, we're not due to go for another 3 weeks... unless OH gets them of course ;) DD2's bf hasn't had them either, that might prove amusing!

    I have 3 unhappy girlies.

DW to load, cat and bunny to drug and having a cuppa and away to my snuggly nest.. collecting my girls in the morning.. KH was suppose to bring them back tonight and hasn't... w@nker.. *hate*

Feel sooo sorry for all the 'spotties' out there. Just hope the 'older kids' don't get them. I had chicken-pox at 28 and it was awful

How often do you clean your skirting boards, walls and window frames? My door frames, skirtings and banisters need a really good clean. Can you suggest a cleaner for tough marks? One cleaner for the whole house maybe. Tips on motivation. It needs doing but on my days off I just chill out and I could use my time off getting the house clean x
I clean my skirting boards when I do the floors and dust the rest when I dust the room. For cleaning paintwork cheaply the best I've found is sugar soap in hot water (I used to be a painter) as it removes all the nicotine/grease/etc very efficiently. You can use on tiles as well but need more info for walls otherwise.
Motivation - follow the lists here could help. Don't try to do too much at a time. Set a task and finish it and it might spur you on to do more. Invite someone special over in a week's time :rotfl: Good luck.

Thursday - Living Room or similar

All appropriate done - sorry forgot to bring forward earlier days.

  • I popped in on Monday, turned around for 2 seconds and now it is stupid o'c on Friday morning....DD2 dropped back at Uni after a 250 mile round trip on BH Monday and DD1 waved off on the train on Wednesday evening.

DS has had the nursery "gruff@lo" toy holidaying with us for a week (each child takes turns having the toy and then parent of said child writes in the gruff@lo diary a creative story to be read out the following week) so at some point I need to print some pictures off (in town) and make up some interesting stuff before it turns into a cane toad

if it's gone, it's either done, don't need doing, or CBA, or not going to happen in my life-time

My older ones all had it years ago.. just these 3 to get it.. and the 2 little grandbeasts.

I actually kind of hope DD2's bf gets them.. but that is purely because I am mean..

Dot has about 5 spots and is being an absolute $h!t.. tormenting the living daylights out of Squeak who is very much under the weather.. I think she has a spot or 10 up her nose, she can't leave it alone and had a massive nose bleed last night and is covered in blood this morning :(

Pixie is still asleep so I've not been able to check her yet.

DW on.. I ran it through a clean cycle yesterday so hoping it washes better this morning.

I hope you don't me joining :) I am at home a lot as I can only work 1 day a week of my pt job due to childcare. I have 2 small businesses, 2 kiddies, an oh, and a dog as well :). I find it hard to keep on top of the housework even though I am at home all day so this will help me keep on top of everything :)

Rather than curtains/throws I will be cleaning out the jumperoo that is in there that I need to sell and we don't have a bin in the living room but Im sure I will have stuff making its way to the bin in the kitchen! I also have a mountain of baby clothes on a chair that have been in here for about a month so I will get those out of here and if I get them listed on eBay ill have to it from the bedroom! There is also part of the blind that needs fixing so I will try to do that today too as it is driving me mad. I will probably clear the floor and hoover about 3 times as its malting time for the dog!

All done yesterday, I needed oh to help with blind as I wasn't quite tall enough even on a chair, and I couldn't get all the bits off the jumperoo to clean. He was on a late though so will get those done tomorrow when he is off.

    Todays list

    Friday - Master Bedroom

My 30 minutes will be some sort of procrastination. I haven't sorted the summer tops out as I am trying to lose some weight but have bought down all my old work shirts as they have changed and there are some maternity ones in there too. Not sure what to do with these apart from bin them? Bedding is in the wash.

Hope all the kiddies are OK, my youngest is having a growth spurt and has been back in bed since 9!

    Morning

Medicine cupboard sorted and list made for repeats. Ood stuff put in a bag to drop off.

Spent 1 hour looking for smaller black bra. Have done airing cupboard and various hot spots and drawers. Bra not found until I discovered the big one I wore yesterday, (made me sore as it sat to far down chest) was in fact the one I had been looking for. Off to look through the smaller ones I have hoarded to see what fits.

    Grocery order done
    Wm is on

Just playing sock snap then get organised to fetch ds2 from school for paediatrician appointment.

    Back later x
