Vet done.. more money spent on the broken cat.. he has gained 400g in 3 weeks.. 20% of his skinny body weight!!
I need to feed the implings and the 3 spotty beasts need bathing.. 2 are covered, literally!! in mud!! They are digging up worms so they can scream at them.
That is so cute! (The screaming at worms, not your poorly kitty!)
Hope the kitty gets better soon and the beasts are cooperative with their cleaning!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

How often do you clean your skirting boards, walls and window frames? My door frames, skirtings and banisters need a really good clean. Can you suggest a cleaner for tough marks? One cleaner for the whole house maybe. Tips on motivation. It needs doing but on my days off I just chill out and I could use my time off getting the house clean x0

back from day out, went dentist, my filling was put back in as a temp but tooth will need to come out if the filling does again he said - thankfully its a back one. but still:eek:
DS2 got on ok with his check up. went into town, met DD2, her fella and the kiddies at the museum, had a mooch, then went for food and a mooch round town (was good even went in lush but only for DD2 to exchange the empty pots i'd given her for a free face mask) got dropped off back home. nipped mils to see how she got on at drs - hes slowly bringing her off the antidepressants, but she needs another blood test as well. so that seemed to have gone ok.
got some washing to hang out now then will have a quick S&S round and do some foodSPC~12 ot 124

 Hi Kimberley!
I tend to do my skirting with the vac tools when I'm going round the edges of the floors, so they don't get too bad. Except the hallway, which gets shoes flung at it. Stardrops is good if you can stand the smell, but for tough marks I like those magic eraser sponges. Not great for emulsioned walls though as they can rub paint off  For motivation try setting your kitchen timer for 20min and focus on one hotspot. You'll be amazed what you can get done. Then have a :coffee: then start again. Short bursts gets quick results and that should spur you on!
We've been out in the garden most of the time, and even had tea out there. Fresh air must be good for appetites, 3 clean plates from stir fried beef, rice and salad. Was yummy.
Finished playhouse jobs, just waiting to see if the lights switch on when it gets dark. Hope they work...
Well I'm going to take my own advice, after my cuppa am going to do 10 min in the hall and 10 in the conservatory. Then 20 in the kitchen. Anyone up for hhc at 7.45?
ETA I realise that doesn't add up to half hour :rotfl:Bossymoo

Hi all
Yuk, chicken pox, poor littlies. DS1 had a massive spot right in the middle of his back which wouldnt heal and he still has a scar about 8 years later!
So, I made myself do some cleaning this aft. Like Kimberley I had a bit of time off and really didnt want to spend it doing housework. But needs must. Dusted and hoovered right through, tidied and decluttered here and there and washed all the non-carpeted floors.
Tired now, long day at work tomorrow so it will be just the basics. Thank goodness its nearly weekend!0 -
At The Institute, watched 2 supports and waiting for the main event. Have my earplugs in as I'm an old lady and I worry about my ears! Makes me feel as though I have a sticking cold though, everything is muffled
Managed to vac and have a quick S&S everywhere before MIL arrived. As long as she doesn't crawl on her knees and look under the sofa, I should be ok0 -
Well I've done a lot of rehoming of things and generally picking up and putting away. I've been through all downstairs, so we are tidy again. How long that will last I don't know. DW is on and kitchen cleared and wiped round.
Littlies are going for a sleepover after school with granny and gramps - I'm going to get the last of the holiday laundry sorted (almost there, just half a load of lights so awaiting school shirts to go in too) and put some stuff in the loft. And I have a night out planned
DS wardrobe wants sorting. He was much happier today, but earlier in the week he complained he was too hot in class and felt poorly (he can't/won't take his sweater off himself and won't ask for help) but also didn't want his coat to play out (if we didn't put the sweater on) but would be too cold without his sweater :rotfl: He took a hoody yesterday but bless him the zip pulled right off so in all the running around he kept losing it. So I've been to the uniform shop for a school fleece jacket with popper fastening. He is a happy boy now!
But it reminded me he is a hot little bod and I need to basically clear his wardrobe for shorts and tshirts - lightweight is what he needs now. DD and I will still be in thermals for another 2 months
Might make a cuppa and head upstairs for more pottering!Bossymoo

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: took my cuppa upstairs, went into my room in the dark as was carrying things, something was moving in my bed :eek::eek:
It was DS :rotfl: he must have sneaked out of his room and gone to sleep in mine :rotfl:Bossymoo
