Wow I've just read your diary and you have done amazingly well in such a short space of time!
I think it's definitely the right choice to reduce your hours for your second job, I have been considering taking one up on top of my full time job and have been told repeatedly that I will just wear myself out. I think that is true (and I don't have kids!!)
Debt busting is great but you need to enjoy life still too, you only get one!! Especially whilst your children are so young!
Anywho, I have subscribed, looking forward to seeing how you get on and your tips for moneymaking!! (I only use nectar adpoints, swagbucks & quidco and already getting pretty bored of swagbucks!!)

Far away from £66,800 but now desperate to get into the £40,000s... Haha! I'm so impatient. Going to dedicate tomorrow to putting things on ebay and gumtree.

Arggghhh well I did what I was hoping not to do - I buried my head in the sand for a little while. This debt free journey is definitely a learning curve. Anyway - I'm back and ready to get going again.
£51,000 of debt and ready to get down into the 40s.

Just had a quick read through your diary so far... Congratulations on your progress so far. You must be so pleased.
I see youve mentioned zapper... Can I ask how u got on with it as I've just downloaded it and it let me scan two things and then just a blank screen. Also I couldn't use the normal camera function on my phone until I uninstalled it.
Good luck with the debt busting, I look forward to reading your updates x0 -
Hi pinkgiraffe2014 - I did use quite a bit to begin with - when I was doing the initial 'sell everything I own!' bit. I would recommend it but you have to be willing to part with stuff for as little as 99p. My mantra has always been...every penny counts....xLBM April 2014: Every Single Penny Counts

right then... things to do today. I feel a good house clean coming on...the type I suddenly get a big urge to do....with Christmas coming up in no time I need to sell the children's old toys and ebay old clothes. Hopefully this will go some way to buying some of this year's presents. I have decided to go down the crafty route and try and make some gifts this year...started baking my own bread and my mum has taught me how to crotchet too!!
My goal for October is getting £1,000 paid off the debt...yes it is a tall order but I think after a 3 month break (which has done me good) I need to make a big dent to keep the momentum going.

From the looks of your three month break you have gone from £58,000 to £51,000 debt?!? That doesn't sound like a break! And if it is, I want to know your trick!!!!Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:
