Maybe it's just me but I really don't think I've ever considered myself conned by any shop :/

They're really not my style, and I know that these perpetual sales are not accurate.

There's being conned and allowing yourself to be conned. You just need an ounce of common sense with dfs, bright house, payday lenders. They're not conning, they offer a Service. Just because that service is stupidly expensive doesn't mean it's a con.

You do get the sofa you want from DFS, so not a con. If you truly want to believe it's worth 3x what you paid, more power to you, you got a bargain...

I personally don't allow myself to get conned, but many people do.

Not only are they all offered at half price you have to pay a lot more if you actually want foam in the cushions.

I'm actually a very honest person but I really object to way that shops con us all the time. So if you get a little bit of pay back that's fine.

Well, your idea of a very honest person differs greatly from mine. I wouldn't consider someone who thinks theft is fine to be in the least bit honest.

Lots of things are a 'con' in my eyes, but not legally. You have to be smart.

You don't get anything for nothing! Like I said I truly don't believe I've ever been conned. Paid too much for something? Sure, but my own fault for not researching!

We will have to agree to differ then because I believe shops con us everyday.

So you have never done anything dishonest, I'm impressed.

Kindly point out where I stated or implied that I've never done anything dishonest.

I've done dishonest things in my life, what I haven't done is to be a hypocryte and called myself honest whilst telling others that it's okay to break the law.

I am very honest, I just don't like being conned all the time.

My honesty shows in the way I say don't bother to return the extra item that was put in the bag. I'm sure that most people who say return it to the shop wouldn't actually do it, they are just saying the right words/
