I've got a spin mop, a bit of a gimmick but I love it!the floors come out very clean and dry in seconds. I also have a steamer for more thorough cleaning.Life comes with many challenges. The ones that should not scare us are the ones we can take on and take control of.0

I used to use the S-wiffer wet wipe cloths. Then I noticed that there was a build up of a film of dirt that wasn't being removed.
For quite a while I've gone back to using a mop and bucket with some warm water and a splash of washing-up liquid and bleach, and am very happy with the results.0 -

Well this was one of the reasons my DH bought me a steam mop, to do the carpets, but it was a waste of money and didn't make one heap of a difference. I didn't see any difference in my floors either and it took ages to get done. Hence why it was given away and I went back to my mop and bucket, and even DH agreed it was a waste of money.
But different strokes for different folks an all that. I'm just sticking to the things from the olden days instead of these new super dooper inventions.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
Mop and bucket. Its all a conspiracy to make you spend cash on carp you dont need. I hate disposable wipes.MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0

I used to use a mop and bucket. I think the mop became thread bear and the bucket got compost in it (Don't ask
) So now its a squirt of something in the sink and microfibre cloth and down on my hands and knees.
