Does anyone still use a mop and bucket

I haven't used the bucket for years, I've been using floor wipes and a flat mop but sometimes the wipes curl up as I am pushing them around but I don't want to go back to the hassle of a mop and bucket and I don't want to get down on my hands and knees cleaning the floor either. Would a multipurpose or floor cleaner be OK just squirted on the floor or diluted down in a spray bottle?

Yes, I use a mop and bucket. Where's the hassle? Hot water and a squirt of cheap washing up liquid into the bucket, in with the mop, squeeze out, mop the floor, and tip the water out when you're done. Quick and cheap. No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0

Yup I prefer a mop and bucket. My mop is one of those ones like a shredded J-cloth.0

Made a small start, now it's time to really tackle this debt!0 -
I use a mop and bucket or sometimes by hand for small rooms or spot cleaning. I have been known to use cleaner diluted in a spray bottle with a mop to do the kitchen floors when I am in a hurry too. I have white tiles so sometimes it is just a case of whatever gets the job done quickly!0

yep, mop and bucket here too. I don't find it a hassle. Better than fiddling with wipes, cheaper and more environmentally friendly too0

Got rid of mop and bucket, purchased a steamer which is great, but have now gone back to mop and bucket as it is quicker.0

Mop and bucket for decent proper cleaning and a microfiber flat cloth mop/sweeper for spot cleaning (I keep a spray bottle full of diluted all purpose cleaner for this/cleaning window sills, washing down the stairs etc).
The proper mop gets the floors proper clean, everything else just spreads the muck about."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
