  • Counting down the days till payday so I can sort out the finances for the month.

Got a couple of things that need to be paid out extra this month. My watch battery is on its way out & needs to be sent for a service - £85.00 - Thats what I get for having a fab watch!

New year, £200 for dinner, dance, B&B. We go to this every year & to be honest if we where to go anywhere else we would spend just as much or more!

That should leave about £400.00 to be split amongst the other debts.

Will try to save as much as I can over the month from my own budget & whatever is left will pay off at the end of the month also.

  • p.s the savings are on hold until the New Year.

  • After recently moving my nearest supermarket is no Sainsbury's so registered for a nectar card to start saving the points & got a wee voucher for £20 off my first online shop.

£70 worth of shopping for £45 including delivery - whoop whoop!!

  • Gaaaaaaaaaah I thought it was payday tomorrow so I have left home with my wee Bill Bible as I call it!

To you it may be a notepad but to me that wee notepad is my life all organised out on the pages!

So gonna have to wait till I get home to start making payments & then reducing my totals.

Alsooooooooooooooo I am gonna start giving myself a monthly shopping budget then each month of £400.00 now I know thats a lot but whatever is left over I will pay to my debt then when the debt is gone I will start reducing that each month.

Next post will be the October Grocery Thread!

I also requested to stay in work till 8pm tomorrow so if they authorize that that is 1 & 1/2 hours OT to the October OT pot. Would like to have at least 14 hours each month.
