No, but it's hard to think of any so traditionally and historically linked with other 'vice' industries!

Would have thought banks/ financial services would be first on anyones lips these days, probably followed by anyone who has Agent in their job title

    Posters PLEASE !!!

The OP , who is female, has come on here asking for consumer advice on how to get the money back.

She hasn't come on here to get all sorts, telling her to get antibiotics, not trust her OH, he's lying, been up to something, !!!!!! !

Get back on track and try and help her get his money back ! It is not some sort of Relationship service !

I think that the trolling by some posters has already been addressed 2 pages ago.

With regards to the people posting that he is lying/up to something, I think these are perfectly valid statements that will be thought of by any bank/court etc, and therefore it is worthwhile being mentioned as then the OP will be prepared with counter arguments.

Strip clubs and criminal activity aren't exactly strangers from each other - there's every chance that someone is relying on embarrassment to not get discovered/busted.

In exactly the same way as taxi companies and criminal activity aren't,nor any cash business.......I ran a taxi co for 8 years without getting involved in criminal enterprise, so it does happen that some are run honestly......

Why would the transactions show on his statement as the last three numbers of his debit card? Rather than sayimg "aba leisure" or whatever

In answer to this I would suggest that the company doesn't show up on statements so that customers can keep quiet about what they have been spending, where and on what.

If you can get hold of transaction times maybe the police can get access to the clubs CCTV. I would think the bar areas and exit would have cameras, maybe they can check what time your OH left and if any of the transactions were after this. Does depend on whether the club wants to help. Hope you get it sorted.

I'd ignore 'hollydays' comments (not for the first time) and support your bloke through this.

If it helps it has been reported on here before but no resolution I'm afraid.

Clip join is a bit different. They threaten people to pay up. From reading the OP it doesn't sound like he was forced to pay.
