As already stated, criminality is not unknown in the sex industry.
It doesn't really matter what that reviewer meant, the result was £300.
I read somewhere on a review they charge £125 for 30 minutes in a VIP booth.
A fool and his money etc..
I guess it's like online dating scams- people are usually to embarrassed to post they've been ripped off.
If you think he's lying perhaps tell him you'll both go to the club together and speak to the manager together- the look on his face should tell you what you need to know.
We lived 100s of miles away so its not practical. He seems happy for me to be involved anyway asking if ill help him write to the club to request receipts ect if necessary... I duno what to think but the transactions are now showing on his statement but under description, it just says the last four digits of his old debit card..0 -

I've got to say, it's sounds like a story he's concocted .0 -
Not practical - but that's a hell of a lot of money..

Prehaps, what an idiot if so? Im certainly going to find out the truth one way or another and ive given him multiple chances to be honest with promise of not getting angry (though id find that very hard!)0 -
If they are chip and pin transactions he won't get the money back.
It is very easy to tell what type of transaction has occurred, have the bank told you yet?The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Yep chip and pin he rang up earlier and they told him
Why would the transactions show on his statement as the last three numbers of his debit card? Rather than sayimg "aba leisure" or whatever0 -

If the card was cancelled before the transactions debited they will have been 'forced' through the account and will show the details of the card. They will have been manually debited from the account after cancellation of the card. Does he have any explanation of how someone got hold of his PIN? If I were you I'd be asking his mates for a contribution to the missing money!!Getting married 02.08.14
Wins for the wedding: membership for a 'wedsite' and app, £35 gift voucher for party supplies shop, £50 worth of hand painted signs, 1kg of heart shaped marshmallows :money:0 -

He has no idea what has happened says he used his card in there to buy drinks once and they left not long after that because the rest wanted to move on, and he went back to the hotel after that. So nope. No idea. Oh well.0 -

And whats wrong with it being £300 if thats what he agreed to pay? When I was a teenager a friend and I bought the identical new car, he paid £1,500 more than me. No grounds to complain to the dealer or anyone else that he didnt negotiate as well as I did.
Reviews online say that Spearmint Rhino prices for VIP booth start at £300 for 30 minutes for 1 girl/ straight forward, others report going up to over £1,000 for 30 minutes by having multiple girls or other special requests. Of cause both of these are just the basic price and don't include any tips. There are generally only minimum prices, everything is ultimately negotiated.
Can you name a single industry that is immune to criminality?0 -

No, but it's hard to think of any so traditionally and historically linked with other 'vice' industries!0 -
