You have a husband AND a boyfriend?

Do they know about each other? :D

Both roles are vacant as it happens! Just imagining myself in the OP's position;) and thinking how I would have reacted!

OP - Think Bod was 'talking' to me;)

I'll tell you something, Op, even though it's off-topic.

I hope he appreciates the tolerant and reasonable way you're behaving over all this...some girlfriends/wives would have flipped big time. I'm sure I would have gone mad had my husband/bf come home having 'spent' this much on a night out!

Hope it gets sorted for you!

Well I trust him and like to think were close and if he had messed up and spent all the money id be furious but its his mess and he can sort it.

Untill ive got proof he didnt spend that money then what can I do?!

I agree in a way and think the only way it could of been fraud is if it was put through as cardholder not present transactions

And NW could/ should be able tell you this immediately - they did when I had fraud against my card from them

There was a story in the paper at the weekend that a Polish businessman purchased a drink in a Polish strip bar for £10 but when he woke up discovered the club had charged £250k to his company credit card.

OP did he leave his card behind the bar or was it in his wallet?

Has your boyfriend reported the theft of his driving licence to the police?
How much alcohol did he drink, is he saying he can't remember what he did?

Trust your gut instinct as to what has happened.if he's lying, you've probably sensed it.

Here's a review I found from one of the clubs they own-they own two establishments

I'd say you got off lightly there…I was too drunk to see the CC machine and paid £300 for a 3 minute dance! Won't be going there again and will be telling as many peeps as possible what a scam it is!

Too drunk to see? Does that mean he agreed £30 but they entered in £300 or that he agreed £300 and paid £300 and now regrets it? Buyers remorse can quickly convert "I was an idiot" into "its a scam".

Isolated complaints can also be competitors giving fake reviews etc.

Known friends pay silly money for things when drunk but that was their fault for getting that drunk not the companies fault for offer things for sale at high prices.

As already stated, criminality is not unknown in the sex industry.
It doesn't really matter what that reviewer meant, the result was £300.
I read somewhere on a review they charge £125 for 30 minutes in a VIP booth.
A fool and his money etc..
I guess it's like online dating scams- people are usually to embarrassed to post they've been ripped off.

If you think he's lying perhaps tell him you'll both go to the club together and speak to the manager together- the look on his face should tell you what you need to know.
