Santander Contactless Debit Card

Santander advise that these are available to everyone from 9th April

I've ordered one only to be sent a non contactless one

Has anyone had any success in getting one ?

Santander do not make any reference to contactless debit cards on their website at the moment.

Hi i registered my interest 2 weeks ago just literally had a call back from them now - promised a contactless card in 7 days so i will give you an update.

Hopefully as there account is good never had any problems at all so far.

I've not seen anywhere mentioned that santander do a contactless debt card. I know the 123 credit card has contactless on it.

Also if your one of the select 123 customers that have the gold 123 debit card its contactless.

But the ordinary debit cards that most people get there is no mention of it being contactless, I also can't find anywhere to sign up for a contactless card either.

So how did you manage that?

I rang them on the 11th and she ordered me one on the phone!
And viola it arrived this morning

Just to clarify, I've received both a contactless debit and 123 credit card.

They don't issue unembossed cards anymore.

But it is the online card if thats what you mean.

So you ordered it on Friday and you got it on Monday ?

Just out of curiosity, when you log into online banking and go to Account services at the top, account requests and click order replacement card, on the next screen at the top it shows you what kind of card your ordering, does it mention contactless in there or just MFC ?
