Welcome Luckystarr.

(((HUGS))) Lynne; hope DH finds something very quickly.

Valli aww, your very own Easter Bunny! Piccies, please.:o

Piggers I agree with the others - take some sustenance you know your poor tum will tolerate. I've had this type of issue; my mother could not for the life of her understand why I couldn't have "just a couple of slices of turkey, cos it's Xmas" and needed to be reminded, in detail, of the effects eating meat had on me when she force-fed it to me as a child. "It's very mild curry" is no use, if all curry spice has a bad effect; and in any case, my experience is that someone else's "very mild" is my "throat-scorchingly hot". (Guess what? - I don't eat curry either; even vegetable curry).;)
Oh yes, and feel-better vibes for Humbug, of course.:o

My kitchen curtains and back and front door curtains have been washed, and are dry and been re-hung.:T

Princesses have had their 2nd walk; a chap whose garden backs onto the alleyway going to the field is busy replacing the fence that was badly damaged in the gales recently; so the girls got a fuss made of them (tarts, both of them!:D ). Only 3 more nights here, and they'll be going home on Monday.:( *cries*
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Getting loads of little outstanding jobs, sorting, flinging done. None of it is enjoyable but it is rewarding. Little break now and then a final push for the day as I know that after about 5pm I'm not great at achieving much. Think I'll see if the washing is dry.

Afternoon flyladies :hello:

We landed back in Blighty around 12.30 today after an absolutely amazing break in Barcelona, I am not looking forward to my credit card statement arriving but the entire city is just gorgeous. We also had fantastic weather so I have a few pink bits, despite SPF30 being liberally slathered. Being a pale Scot has its downsides from time to time(!).

JTTOU, thank you for the heads up regarding booking online to visit Sagrada Familia, we did just that and avoided the horrendous queues. DH has been 3 times before but it was my first visit and I was blown away by the whole experience; you could not meet a less religious person than me, but the quietude and the beauty moved me to tears :o I honestly cannot wait until we can go back and see how the building work has progressed. I don't think I fully understood the word "awesome" until I visited.

ANYWAY!! Enough gushing, back to business :D I was very grateful to have had a good tidy, dust and S&S session before leaving, I even managed to chuck our towels from Monday morning through a quick 15min wash before the taxi arrived to take us to the airport, so I came home to an empty washing basket -- this didn't last long :p but the third and final wash load is almost finished and will fill all the available airer space.

Bags are all unpacked and in their rightful places, I tidied the bathroom cupboards when I was emptying the toilteries bags too.

Tomorrow will be manic as I am working in the morning [unusual as I don't work weekends as a rule, but I have two customers who are 'in need' at the moment so I'm doing what I would've normally done on Thursday] then I have to collect the skids from KH's and attack the supermarket. By the time I get home, DSS and DSD will be here too so I will be making the most of the P&Q tonight before all hell breaks loose tomorrow.

I hope you are all well, I haven't kept up with Fred as I have been otherwise engaged the past few says :D but I'll have a read whilst enjoying a G&T. 8.95€ for a litre of Larios gin? Don't mind if I do ;) xx

Just eaten a small but nagging frog as a little appetizer, time to start dinner now.

Evening all,

Decided not to post today's list and cross items off as I haven't done them :o

I have however done;

- two loads of washing and it's now dry :)
- mowed the front and back lawns
- walked the doggles
- visited parents
- S&S the kitchen
- two loads of pot washing

Not too bad but do need to be more productive tomorrow and Sunday.

Evening all :)

All sofas moved and henried underneath

Sofas also cleaned and protection cream applied

Computer desk moved and henried etc

Swedish shop visited for a new rug, box, & clips.

Other stores purused for dinning (kitchen) chairs. None found. One shop had very damaged display chairs, so didn't make us want to purchase. We need ones which strong, compact, wipe cleanable and indestructible.
Not forgetting cheap.

House henried
Bathroom cleaned

DH's bedside table moved and cleaned behind

Naughty bin using neighbours had a bonfire whilst we were out and DS1 didn't close our windows. He said he didn't want to keep the smoke in. At least my washing wasn't out like the end house's.

Quiche made for tea. Eaten and cleared away. DS1 had pizza and ds2 had his usual followed by screaming. Strawberries and yoghurt or ice cream (for the slim of the house) later.

Ionafan Good news about the Fatty Lumps x
LW dog booking vibes x
Lynnejk Sorry about DH's job x

Been to Morries to drop DD off - was VERY quiet. Presumably people are assuming they will have closed at 4pm. Bought a whoopsied chicken so that's roasting now (for tomorrow) and will be joined by tonight's lasagne, shortly.

Have done nothing.

It's my pleasure - I tried not to spoil it for you in advance but you have described just exactly how I felt and reacted when I visited last year - "awesome" describes La Sagrada well but perhaps not quite perfectly - I don't think there is a suitable word in the dictionary. I don't usually re-visit cities but Barcelona is on my list for a repeat sometime.

Where else can we go? You've made me think about more holidays now!!!!

• Ionafan, so pleased to hear OH just has fatty lumps.......the worry can be all consuming til you know xxx

Tuesday to Friday....goodness me, this week is disappearing into a black hole.

Managed to accidentally cut off a phone call from the hounds sent baying for my blood by the J0bc£ntr£+ people. So waiting for them to ring me back.

DD2 managed to get hair dye all around my ensuite again......and it is not coming off with normal products and there is no perm lotion in the house to help remove it

DD2 continues to be in my bad books as she *attempted* deep fried M@rs bars earlier in the week, and I have until today refused to clean up the mess it created.

Yesterday all 5 young Skints and I went to Constable Country, Flatford Mill to be precise and had a nice picnic.

Today we went to Theatre to see CB££bies Chris and Pui Roadshow, which DS absolutely loved, then had a quick lunch before coming home.

DD3 is currently on DW duty....eau de Fl@sh has been liberally squirted around the kitchen. DD1 has WM occupied so I might go out there later and catch up on my washing.

Rubbish and Compost is out, just need to sort out recycling for the morning.

I resolve to start again once I have taken DD2 back Uni on Monday so I won't post what is outstanding at this point as it will take to long

DH has rendered our outside wall :D and I spent the morning potting up sweet peas, having banter with the neighbours and enjoying the lovely sun.
Poor DS left DN inside this morning as he couldn't NOT be out in the sun and DN just wanted to watch tv.
Went to Brean down for a lovely walk this afternoon and got sunburnt feet again! Lovely meal at local pub on the way back and met Auntie and Uncle.
DD is sailing this weekend and we are off for a walk around the nature reserve tomorrow so might see her on the pond. Will wave if we see her!
Work tomorrow night, they asked me to go in tonight but I was basking :o.
Enjoy the rest of your weekends everybody.

I was wondering about xxraphaelxx the other day. Hope she's well.
