Well it surprises me. Very much.0 -
well i know about this because i know the neighbour that recently moved in, they had asked other neighbours about them like anyone would do to establish what is going on. The neighbour has reported these people and the housing officer has visited, most neighbours know the tenent as he has lived there for about 20 years, but like myself didn't know there was a woman living there. from what the neighbour told me the owner of her flat may have known something about the situation but chose to do nothing and hope that someone would move in for a cheap rent but is having to move out as they are losing days at work because of them.My Signature is MY OWN!!0

I worked at the DWP for years, and you were not allowed to suspend benefits without evidence or admission.
Anon reports were treated as a bit suss, a lot of the time.
If a person didn't turn up for interview, though, payments could be withheld until they came in.
Must be more to this, or the DWP have not followed their own rules.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

Has this man done anything to upset you by any chance, as you seemed pretty determined on getting him exposed. How do you know he is being investigated, the DWP are not going to make that common knowledge.0 -

That's exactly the situation now. Anon reports do initiate investigations but benefit certainly is never suspended without so e evidence. Unless someone doesn't respond to letters, then it can be.0 -
Sorry but that was not my experience, my Son was on sickness benefit when some spiteful person wrongly informed that he was working, His benefit WAS immediately suspended and it took them
Public spirited, or honest would be better descriptions than "spiteful". As you presumably know, too, it takes more than an unfounded allegation to have benefits stopped, suggesting that the suspicion was reasonable.
What's the actual story here?0 -

Not sure about DWP managed benefits, but I thought with housing benefit, it gets suspended as soon as someone reports someone else is claiming it fraudulently? Our local council do this while the alleged fraud is being investagated and say it is to prevent any overpayment.0

That surprises me greatly. I investigate Fraud and am currently employed by a council. I have not come across the routine suspension of claims just because of an anon allegation.0 -
I'm puzzled how is she living there if she is seen leaving at night? I noticed no comment on her being seen arriving.....
I live on my own but my OH often comes round spends the evening then leaves anything up to 2am. At most he is here for 6 hours though most of time it is only a couple of hours. Living someone where suggests staying most nights for the whole night.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
