I wish we could all go out glitching together. Even though there isn't a supermarket big enough to hold the elite :rotfl:

I pity that poor supermarket. It would go bankrupt in a matter of minutes lol xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I like her but not this song. It's way too dreary and speeding up doesn't do anything for it
.......Don't you start making me watch weird you tube clips  I get shown several a day as it is!!..........(joke I don't mind really

Ooh, a bit of agreement:). No, for me the speed-up (even that slow speed-up:D) makes it able to sing along to and I can deal with the (supposedly 'sped-up') vocal separation on that remix. Quite a good song (that remixed version anyway) - but I guess I miss the point as of course it's the lyrics that most people look at. For me, can I sing along to it? And the 'sped-up' version is just more natural to my way of singing (which is of course absolutely fine as I am a great singer:D:D). Anyway, as for repeating myself - did I post it twice by error (goes off for a mo. now to check)?0 -
'Somewhere' in the fridges, but not really with most meals in mine, will have to look closer at whats in the same isle. As I hadn't found them but could see them when logged in to my A's, I first got them on a C&C. For anyone getting these, please note the pre-cooking instructions as discussed on here, but not on packaging. Something along the lines of carefully remove from foil tray without spilling all over worktop, grease tray, place back in, cover with foil, then cook. If you don't, they stick like glue to the tray.

It was a good post, seeking an explanation (regardless of whether or not the question was 'stupid' to some people, and I place myself in the 'lack of knowledge' place on this item:o:o:o) but you've now amended to saying you're a "numpty" and I don't agree with that, so no longer thanking you!:p:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks!:)

Thanks for this, no I can't find them on a.com. Maybe mine doesn't stock them either xWe're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits.0 -
No, it does appear to be the same version at both links. The second one was in my post as it says "(speed up a bit)" and was there with reference to my point about it being a 'sped up' version made in the last half of my post. Thus that my chosen version (in the first link), absent an even more speeded-up version:eek:, was a speeded-up one as shown by the second link (it being the same).
Oh, come on folks, it's getting late!!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Anyone else been on benefits here? I've been on benefits twice in my life. First time when I came out of uni and couldn't get a job and then early last year before I found this thread. I gave a portion of this allowance (I was getting around £35 a week) to my parents to help with household bills.
I have an iPad, a Samsung phone, nice clothes. Things I bought when I had work. I probably got a fair few raised eyebrows at the job centre for not looking how someone on benefits should look. But the truth of the matter was, I was bad with money. I didn't have any savings to fall back on once I was without work. So the little bit of job seekers allowance I got (after paying in taxes for years) I used to pay bills and give money to my parents.
I do think that money management should be taught in school. I'm just fortunate that I live in a country where you can get help if you need it. I hope I never to have to sign on again but you never know what life will throw at you.
I've enjoyed reading everyone's stories today. And when I think back to those times I'm even gladder I found you all
When DH died 3 years ago I was signed off sick, I had to apply for ESA so I could claim statutory sick pay because I'm self employed. I got my NI paid but due to 3 mths too little NI paid I wasn't entitled to SS but still had to go through an awful medical after 13 weeks to be told that I was medically fit to work eventhough I was a blubbering, quivering wreck through out. I also claimed housing benefit and still do although it's now down to just over £2 per week because I'm now in social housing.
I must admit I felt awful the first time I went in to fill in both sets of forms. I felt so out of place and very guilty/embarrassed to be there.
I think the worst though had to be when my landlord went bankrupt and we were evicted due to this. The aul battle axe of a housing officer I was assigned couldn't have been worse, she looked at me as if I was something nasty she'd stood on. I remember going in on our last day in the house to see where they'd got us for temp accommodation only to find out Belfast don't have any for 'normal' families, like she couldn't have told me that before! We were offered a hostel in Coleraine, quite a distance from Belfast and really not suitable considering my MH at the time. Thankfully there was a bed for DS in my mums, I just spent months sleeping on the sofa.
I think the hardest part was going into the building not knowing what to expect, having people both in and outside staring at you as you walked in and asked what to do. When I went to see what help I could get after DH died my aunt came with me, she asked for a private room and my brother waited out in the waiting area. He was able to tell me after exactly what had been said in the room because the girl had gone to ask someone else about something and had stood talking about me with those at the counter! Talk about humiliating! He put a complaint in.
I'm signed off sick at the moment but haven't claimed anything because of my experience before. I hope to get working again once the concentration levels improve.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

Imagine if we all went to the checkouts/SS at the same time! Hahaha pandemonium. 'Approval needed' SAs running about trying to take 1p items :rotfl:Debt free 6th December 2014
