I'm sorry - I've unthanked you:rotfl:. It was a good post, seeking an explanation (regardless of whether or not the question was 'stupid' to some people, and I place myself in the 'lack of knowledge' place on this item:o:o:o) but you've now amended to saying you're a "numpty" and I don't agree with that, so no longer thanking you!:p:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks!:)0 -

Tee hee. Nah just work and stuff. And the nearest supermarket to me is Ts.
But if there's glitch on washing up liquid or bog roll I'm on it like a car bonnet!Debt free 6th December 2014

Aww thanks xx
What I really need is a glitch buddie, I'm fine with someone else with me. Any volunteers
I'd be your glitch buddy but I don't think we live near to each other?
Plus I'm already spoken for *raises eyebrows at PD*Debt free 6th December 2014

I've suddenly realised that, having given half of them away, those £1.50 per pack burgers I sweated blood and tears over (not to mention risking trouting) have actually cost me double that now (albeit I've had the pleasure of giving great meat to my children too)! I guess the lesson is for me to keep shtumm  regarding my glitched bargains and then, when I do give them away, everyone will be overwhelmed by my generosity!
:D:D:D
This is so me.
I would happily give my children the shirt off my back if it made them happy but sometimes you realise you are actually giving away the things you will need and will cost you a lot more to replace.
OH is always telling me to keep quiet about how little things cost but people get to know and press you for the price.0 -
And my sister is going down hillsmall indications showing. I hope I'm very wrong - fingers crossed
So worried - it's been maybe 8 years since it happened before.
She has opened a shop with others & it's very stressful & the others expect her to sort everything
Aww snap
I also wish you were my neighbour0 -
That was my mum and dad's rule, they never ever had any credit except their mortgage. Probably why I am such a lucky girl now there were no debts to pay off from the estate.
There has been one time in my life where me and Mr TS had to live beyond our means to put food on the table because of health reasons and it took us a few years to pay it off.
You have to try and stay in control whatever the circumstance, while you are in control you can always steer yourself in the right direction, it can be hard but it can be done.
My point exactly these situations are out of the blue and need to be worked aroundWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

I used to feel very annoyed that I was having to use my savings to live onand then I realised that's exactly why I had savings in the first place! After having a blast as a youngster I adapted my Dads rainy day attitude........and unfortunately my rainy day came
I have read all the views on benefits etc with interest today but it's not something I like to give my view on. Everyone's situation is different.
I certainly would be spending a lot more of my savings if it wasn't for being here. We manage to maintain a pretty good standard of living despite our circumstances
Thankyou FC. I guess I carry on glitching as much as I can ( many times I just can't ) as I feel I'm letting my family down if I don't do this for them. If it were just me I certainly wouldn't risk making myself ill to get some luxuries. I would rather live a basic life, but I want more for my kids xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
