Edit: isn't predictive text great ? LolWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

That's exactly where I am thanks - googling as I go. I see Parking Eye often end up in the small claims court so just wondering how this works being resident overseas as I won't receive any paperwork, so searching now.0

my point about not caring about the circumstances is that they are not relevant
what is relevant is that you are receiving inflated invoices for a perceived rule breaking issue that is a private matter and you have no idea if the people sending you these invoices have the right to do so
the acronyms are explained in that newbies thread, hence my point you have not read it, because the acronyms are there, the reasons why you appeal this invoice are also there
you need to question if they have the legal right to send out this invoice and generally they dont , but that wont stop them trying to sc@m money out of you , they are bullies asking for money in the schoolyard because you have a blue shirt on and its raining so they want your umbrella and coat too
you fight back using legal arguments and pay nothing because they have little or no right to demand anything from you
you did the correct thing in coming here and asking, you have had replies from people who know the answers and wish to help you , me included , so you need to send in that appeal and not really question why , start to understand what you are being told , and why , then make sure these bullies dont win as they have no right to your money at all
as you are not resident here that may work in your favour , but better to get this cancelled by the landowner and send in the appeal anyway, showing you made contact as soon as you were made aware of it. the last thing you want is a court case in your absence, a default judgement , and a CCJ
ps:- you can see 2 examples of what they get up to in here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4945934
also check out the parking pranksters website and blogs too0 -
If you are not resident in the UK you should point this out, because they can't sue you. Appeal, and give them the address in the country you are resident in. Point out the cheapest way to resolve this is to use poplaDedicated to driving up standards in parking0

Name someone else (who is forum savvy and can follow our appeal advice) as the driver so they can appeal it. Have a think, it probably wasn't you driving was it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks, but there's no-one really who can do that.0

There's nobody allowed to drive the vehicle that wasn't the registered keeper? Really? (Hint: it doesn't have to be them that actually prepares the PPC appeal and POPLA appeal following forum advice - it just needs to be sent in their name with their permission).0
-
Really. No family left in this country that could help out.0
-
No friends insured to drive your car (even on their own insurance) that would be willing to step in and help?0
-
No. I haven't lived in this country for 10 years, so everyone has moved on.0
