Interesting article with Mrs Rodgers looking like she's pretty much on the ball with this.

As an aside, I find it quite disrespectful, and something from a bygone era to refer to someone purely by their surname in the report. And not just the once, but many times. Would take nothing to put a 'Mrs' in front of the Rodgers, or if characters are at a premium, simply call her Anne. It almost makes her sound to be the 'criminal' in all of this.

Pet hate of mine - rant over!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

ParkingEye yet again implying that failing to respond to their unsolicited junk makes one culpable.

  • They should lock her up and throw away the key.

Bloomin riff raff getting misguided advice off the forums.

Doesn't she know that Parking Eye win the majority of their cases. Okay, they don't state that the shift is swinging dramatically, but don't they realise how difficult it is generating all the legal stuff they have to send out for each case.

And ever tried working out a "genuine pre-estimate of loss?" It's not easy you know.

Bloody pensioners, clogging up the car parks. And don't get me started on Aldi.

The undefended or very badly defended ones.

    Especially when there isn't one!

  • Parking Prankster has passed on this lady's details to Kirkbyinfurnesslad who has agreed to lay rep at her hearing.
  • Fantastic. I was trying to get my head round the claim about them winning the "majority" of cases. I seem to remember that the claim was once "over 90% of cases."

I'm hazarding a guess that the total number of winning cases is around, or just above, 51%

Which suggests that they are now losing the majority of cases. (Because there has been a drop in the total number of wins from 90% to 51%).

I suspect that it will soon be the case that the total of won cases will be in the minority, especially as folk such as Mrs Rodgers, are becoming more and more aware of what a sham this is.

Someone from here with the proper knowledge should contact the guardian to see if they will run a follow up story correcting parking eyes 'figures' and show them and capita up as the bunch of lying cowboys they are.

Yep - can see their concerns about unhealthy interest in their cases increasing dramatically in the near future :rotfl:
