Here's wishing you lots of padded shoulders and Simon le Bon to visit asap :T:T:T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Well my wardrobe from the 80's was more short trousers than new romantics, though I do recall mum with padded shoulders.

Hoping these decade related references will become an amusing theme to my diary........

  • Well I booked my holiday and made the fatal error of letting the airline have my mobile number - Its the cheap one run by the Irishman - and now I am being bombarded by various PPI companies.

I am 99.9% certain it was them as I am extremely cautious who gets my mob number, and I always check very carefully if I need to tick or untick the "we would like to sell your personal details to every del boy, pyramid scheme, and other scumbag" box.:mad::mad:

Any ideas how I can prove it was them and that they have breached data protection laws in doing so??

Not sure how it will help as I am getting phoned from a different number each time - Clearly I have had my number added to some database that has been sold on to various companies who are fishing for business. They are UK based numbers so at least I can trace where it has come.

For now I will continue with my "I do not wish these unsolicited calls and will be reporting you to trading standards" response.

  • Its amazing how a bit of sunshine can brighten the mood.

Had a good money saving day. First I claimed a free coffee via a full loyalty card. Yes, I know I should make my own but then I don't leave office and the 5 min walk helps keep me sane.

Then had a trip to s@ins on way home and I arrived just after the fairy had sprinkled those yellow stickers about. Pack of 4 luxury range quarter pound burgers, was £3.15 now 79p.
I thought that was such a good deal I grabbed two :D
