:rotfl: to your missing trousers, haven't seen them I'm afraid - hope you find them!
Yay to an unexpected day offand enjoy your takeaway tonight. Me and OH have decided to have one on Friday, I actually can't remember the last time we had one so really looking forward to it.

LOL how utterly bizarre to lose your trousers. I can't say much. I lost some for DAYS. They eventually turned up under my two year olds bed. She was fascinated with 'knickers' at the time and thought every item of clothing was in fact knickers. Quite embarrassing at times, having a small child following you around shouting knickers repeatedly
Nectar points at justeat?!?! I have never seen this! Although to be fair I just use it as a menu then phone the local takeaway. I don't like to pay a surcharge and then tip on top! Nectar points might swing it though...
Yay for unexpected days off! I wish someone would spring one on me. Snow day tomorrow *wishes hard*
Hope the takeaway was lovely yummy! Night night!!

No trousers here gib. Have you tried OHs wardrobe etc? I've put stuff in my OHs wardrobe sometimes by mistake and he wouldn't tell me. Or try tumble drier? I've also lost a few bits inside duvet covers, but not a pair of trews.
Thanks for hot choc, look forward to hearing about cunning plan. Could you pin a tail on it and call it a weasel?.
Lilt, my DD put some pants on her head and did a little pants on your head song and dance when she was a jelly tot size. Lol.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Hey guys,
Thanks for the trousers suggestions but they are still MIA...
Very tired atm as haven't been able to sleep. I'm never a 'good' sleeper, but haven't had a night like this for a while. Typical when I've loads to do! I think it's because I've been feeling a bit 'fed up' this last couple of days, and then had a few nasty comments made by a family member last night (along the lines of 'you never do anything' when all I have ever done is support them above my own wellbeing). Need to take DH's advice and focus on what I need, rather than on those who like to take advantage, and still make me feel bad. I know I can't win, so I do wonder why I continue to be disappointed and hurt.
Ooh...I remember now why I shouldn't write at this hour. Apologies for the doom and gloom! x
Heading off into town later to pay a cheque into the bank, and picking up some books from the library (The millionaire next door and Your money or your life). Is it wrong to be very excitedAlso seeing three sets of friends and have to go to the parents, so a busy day all round! Hopefully, Sunday can be a true day of rest (although I do have to do some exam marking that's due in Monday - think of the money Gib).
Not much else to report really. Hope to catch up with other diaries over the weekend, and hope everyone is doing well. Happy Saturday!

Have a lovely weekend Gib

Agree with ICD and INOD. The reason you are upset is because you are a kind and sensitive person, rather that than an insensitive one (but it does mean we will get hurt).
Try to shrug it off, go on shrug your shoulders now - you are Teflon women - or that bat - my wings are made of steel. (Bat fink I think). Deflect those comments with your kindness, you don't deserve it.
Sending hugs and don't worry about D&G. (Doom and gloom, sadly not Dolce and Gabbana) :rotfl:OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Hi Gib, don't have much to add to whats already been said in the lovely posts above but try to stay well clear of that person in future. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life. I very much enjoyed the millionaire next door so no! Be excited! It is very interesting in how it explained the different behaviour of different professionals. Also the behaviours of successful entrepreneurs towards their children was great.0 -
I'd love to read those books Gib, please let me know how you get on with them as I don't want to buy something else to add to my pile of things to do just yetOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10
