I wasn't very well yesterday so didn't have an Easter Egg.
But I'm looking forward to cracking open an egg this evening!

Thanks Goldie, me too. We're sort of in a 'what will be will be' mindset now. She is currently roasting herself next to the fire"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." Terry PratchettBought our house 2012Married 2015

Hi optimistic-mummy :hello:
Thanks for popping in! I'm hoping this diary will help me to keep track of our progress. It's so easy to forget what you have already achieved and get bogged down in day to day stuff!
Thanks for your support

Morning everyone :hello:
The sun is shining (just) and it's the last day of the holiday for me, so I'm still in bed catching up on a few diaries.
Yesterday was OH's birthday so we went to his Mum and Dad's for lunch, then spent a lazy afternoon reading and watching a bit of TV in front of the fire. I'm generally not very good at doing nothing so it was a perfect lazy Sunday afternoonAlso a NSD :A
Today we are going for lunch at my Mum's house and will probably pop in to see my brother[STRIKE]'s puppy[/STRIKE].
Before we go I need to do some printing for work tomorrow morning (I hate doing my own printing but I don't want to start the term by dashing around like a blue-@rsed fly because of some ICT meltdown); put some washing away and sort out the pet insurance claim form for tomorrow.

:rotfl: slowlyfading, I wasn't sure whether it was done on purpose or not!
Evening all :hello:
I'm really dreading tomorrowI have got everything as ready as I can but have got a monster list of big, important things to do by the end of the week  Oh yeah and actually have to squeeze in some teaching somewhere
Today I have:- Had a lovely lunch with Mum
- Printed and filled in pet insurance claim form ready for tomorrow
- Printed plans and things needed for work tomorrow in case things don't go according to plan (they never do)
- Dusted the dining room, well, the bits that aren't covered in OH's !!!! :rotfl:
- Quick vacuum (really quick)
- Low spend day, bought hayfever nose spray for £3.50 in Mr T
- Dragged OH to get his passport photo :rotfl:
- Walked 3 miles :A
- Found a very rusty 2p roadkill :T
- Had veggie shepherds pie from freezer
Things I haven't:- Go to martial arts. OH has gone without me as I'm feeling a bit weepy
This saves £5 but I really wanted to go.
On the whole a successful day, although it's felt like a bit of a struggle. Looking forward to finding out that nothing is as bad as I expect it to be (school and dog)

Very good luck for tomorrow. I too dread the start of term but don't have a worry like you do about your dog. All the best,

Thanks Squirrel,
I know it's silly to be so worried about a pet but I can't help it, animals get me every time
I hope you have a successful first day back, if you are back in school tomorrow?

No it isn't silly. Pets are there every day, in your home, and dogs especially are members of the family who interact with you - welcome you home etc. It's natural to become very attached to them, and to be very worried when you don't know whether there's anything serious wrong with them.
