The rear bumper has identical colour as the rest of the car. Both bumpers are made from plastic. The front bumper is the only one with different colour on it.

    Cheers

Oh... thanks for your invaluable contribution to this thread and for helping me clarify my own regrets.

    You have a great attitude.

But as you have not decided to actually put up links i shall comment.

That alignment is ok but not a the best equipment. There is no Thrust Angle measurement that i could see, but i looked at it on my phone and the image couldn't be zoomed.

The front bumper has indeed been painted.

By a painter using the wrong paintcode.

After seeing the pictures i doubt i would have even taken the car in the first place.

The alignment wasn't actually that far out but without thrust angle who knows how bad it really is.

As i said previously you need to get it checked by a garage with Hunter or similar equipment.

The wheel alignment job has been carried out by a true specialist with the best equipment possible. Does Supertracker tells you something? Anyway you don't need performance equipment to do a decent alignment.

The alignment wasn't that far off? It's a brand new car. Is supposed to be perfect because is a new car and, also, tracking is not covered by warranty.

It wasn't my choice not to put links I wasn't allowed.

There are only limited adjustments that can be done to a DS5 and you can sea how off the alignment was from the links poster by me.

    Thank you

Well, no car leaves the factory without a certain amount of touch up or repair, they almost all take damage during the manufacturing process.

However, your car looks like it took damage on the way to the dealer (not uncommon) and was repaired by a local specialist who probably didn't have the latest paint specifications for that car.

JHC. Its not the 70s Strider, it is absolutely not true that, "no car leaves the factory without a certain amount of touch up or repair". Modern production processes mean that quality is achieved, first time.
I agree that light and photographic processes might be misleading, but that bumper doesn't even remotely look right.
Manufacturer might want to take that car under its wing pronto, the paint is appalling, the shakes are far more serious.

the bumper is plastic bonnet and wings are metal. Different substrate show colour differently.

But as the OP points out the rear bumper is also plastic and that has a perfect paint match to the rest of the car

    Hi

Just spoke with Barclays and this proved to be a total waste of time. I would like to remind you that I already kept Barclays Partner Finance informed about everything since I took delivery of the car, also sent them a rejection letter explaining why I rejected the car so on.

I have phoned them tonight to ask them to reconsider their position and to assume their responsibility as required by Section 75 of Consumer Section Act 1974. They advised me that is not possible and they will book me for a call back from one of their senior advisers. I begun to cry and laugh because this was the 3rd time when Barclays was booking me for a call back and I've never been called back. Appalling Customer Service...

    I got asked the following:

"So what's wrong with the car?"

"Is the car still with you?"

    "Did you returned the car?"

"When did you returned the car?"

    "What the Dealer told you?''

    ... and my favourite:

"So what's the purpose of this call ?"

Basically I had to explain everything one more time to a new advisor and in the end to be told that there is nothing new in their position.

After I've calmed down a little bit I have contacted Financial Ombudsman Service and made an official complaint.

    Cheers
