Also, given that the OP is logging every calorie on non cheat days and the weight loss is now slowing even though on non cheat days the amount of cals consumed doesnt seem to be very much, I think its also worth logging the cals consumed on cheat days as well.

Having said that, I think the OP said she had relaxed the diet a lot over the last few weeks, probably why the weight loss has slowed.

So the amount you've eaten in the last 2 months is the amount you need to maintain your current weight. Ie you are eating pretty much your maintenance calories to stay at your current weight NOW.

If you are serious about loosing more weight, I'd serious think about your sleeping habits. Google 'weight gain & night shift studies' and read up on the research that has been done. Working night shifts plays havoc with your metabolism.

Unless you HAVE to work nightshifts, why make it harder for yourself to loose
    weight?

Tink doesn't work nights..... she chooses to be up at night to play with her pets.

My sister used to work nights in a care home. Combined with looking after a young son, she never caught up with her sleep. I'm sure this has contributed to her low immune system and type 2 diabetes in later life.

I probably didn't explain what I meant very well... Unless you have no choice (ie you have to work night shifts), why stay up to all hours? It's proven that it mucks up your internal body clock & therefore your metabolism.

You may have averaged 1lb a week overall but almost all the loss was in the first 2 months. Your weight loss has definitely plateaued. You've 'only' lost 2.6kg in the last 2 months. A lot of women's weight fluctuate this much in a month anyway so it could be argued it's not really weightloss.

My weight loss hasn't stalled, I hardly tried in march and April

I'm keeping my sleeping the same

    Appreciate the advice though

My cheat day (if I go for a meal) I can't log, will start logging then if I'm eating at home though

Exactly, I barely counted during march and April

I choose to stay up late for one thing because I can see my pets, secondly it makes the day go quicker and lastly I sleep better if I go to bed late

You could log an estimate of your cheat meal calories by using my fitness pal.

Bf works nights but is actually doing ok with losing weight, he's lost about 2 stone so far (I admit I'm a bit jealous as I'm trying to mirror what he's doing and am doing more exercise but I don't seem to be losing it as quickly!!). I still think I'm not eating enough but it's really hard to force yourself to eat when you're not hungry :o

I've got 5 weeks till race for life now and really want to have dropped a dress size, think I'm getting closer. The couch to 5k and Zumba is certainly making me feel fitter even if it doesn't seem to be making me thinner.

Lol I think my problem is I sleep too much :o

    I average about 9/10 hours a night

I can function on 8 but less than that and I'm pretty much a zombie (unless I'm manic in which case I seem to function on 1 or 2 hours...though it's not sustainable and I usually crash after about 3 days of that!) :o

I need at least 8 which is hard when my pain killers don't get me through the night
