The thing with me and breakfast is I don't like any breakfast food
Hate porridge, other cereals have sugar in which gives me heartburn first thing
Don't like toast (wouldn't know what to put on it anyway)
Eggs give me gas
Wouldn't know what else to eat lol
Who says what is 'breakfast food'? Nothing stopping you from eating a small lunch for brekkie instead.
What do you generally eat for lunch, dinner and snacks?0 -

How much does the stomach need to stretch to take in the volume that an entire packet of sausages, potato, butter, milk, gravy, vegetables?
The stomach can stretch quite a lot as far as Im aware, it can hold quite a lot of food. Much more than 5 sausages, some potatoes and some veg and gravy. Look at the amount some people pack away at Christmas for example. Ive posted on the board where people say what they have for dinner. I dont massively overeat at Christmas, not being a meat eater and not having a large family we just make the choice to get a takeaway in. Some people might consider that a binge, but when I saw what some people were posting (and I appreciate that its one day and people like to celebrate), I thought, I couldnt eat that. But some people clearly could, with no ill effects.
For me, a binge would be someone eating massive quantities of food. They might not feel ill at the end. They might. Or it could be someone who has problems like bulimia or compulsive over eating.
Ive been out a couple of times a week for dinner over the last few weeks due to birthdays. Not all you can eat buffets but just meals from the set menu. If 5 sausages, some spuds and some veg and gravy is a binge, some of the portions some restaurants serve could easily be double that. I go to some places where I have to ask them to box up what I cant eat (and I like my food).
Portion sizes do matter when someone is trying to lose weight. But some people have large appetites and can cope with eating quite a lot in one sitting. Some other people cant. I have family members who struggle to eat very much, they just arent big eaters. I might be able to eat 5 sausages no problem, they would eat 2 or 3.
I think the trick really is to listen to the signals about how much to eat, when you are full stop and if you want 5 sausages one day and are hungry enough, have them. If you arent another day and want 2, fine.0 -

All just cop-outs and excuses, I'm afraid. If you really wanted to do this, you would do it. You would find something healthy that you liked. Make a fruit smoothie, for instance.
The bottom line is that it is down to you. If you don't lose the weight, nobody else is that bothered, so the excuses cut no ice. Otherwise, keep posting here and keep eating the junk. Your choice, ultimately.0 -

It can vary
I don't stick to certain things for dinner and certain things for tea it's just whatever I can fit in my calories, some of the things I eat include
Quorn chicken/ham with salmon and dill philidelphia cheese and jalapeños either on bread or sandwich thins
Pizza with anchovy paste
Sole/salmon/cod/haddock/seabass/trout with veg/chips/bread
Tuna burgers with salad
Tuna pasta bake
Tuna/quorn curry
Tuna and rice
Other quorn things (BBQ chicken bites, chicken style pieces, turkey burgers, kievs, broccoli and cheese escalopes) either with veg, salad or bread
For snacks, crisps, bar of choc, tesco sushi, cheese toastie
Should add this isn't all in one dayBut some people have large appetites and can cope with eating quite a lot in one sitting.
That's the thing with me, I would rather have 2-3 larger meals than more smaller ones for the same calories0 -

Sugar first meal = heartburn, not an excuse it's a fact
I do want to do this hence why I'm cutting down0 -

OK- so it sounds like you like bread. Why don't you have that instead of toast? I sometimes have a slice or 2 of bread with a tsp of PB and jam.0 -

Bread with peanut butter might be nice, I do like PB0 -
I recommend you go vegan, or vegan + fish!
Dairy can be very fattening, and if you are vegan you'll at least be eating a lot of vegetables, pulses, nuts, and other healthy things which'll be good for your vitamin and mineral intake.0 -

If its including fish then it's not vegan or veggie
No way could I be vegan, I hate nuts apart from the odd walnut0
