That seems to happen a fair amount of the time with UKCPS, they pick their fights with the weaker members of Society. Well done you for seeing it through!

I thought only bullies did this? Maybe I'm wrong? :(
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Congratulations - that's what these parasites do! Don't be tempted to ignore it though even though it's annoying and timewasting for you. UKCPS do try the odd small claim against ignorers so don't go there. At least you know how to see it off!

    Hi

I have had a similar issue

I never had anything stuck to my window
    Never had the initial NTK
The first I knew of this was the reminder for £100.

I have got them to send photos but the pics are undated and don't show the notice stuck to the car just a close up of the notice . . This may be a pic of a previous notice that I have already paid off

I am concerned as this is at the £100 stage despite the fact that this is the first I have seen of it. This "parking offence" occurred weeks before the one paid - this all seems a bit strange to me.

Feeling like they have their teeth in me now as I paid one

I would love to hear any advice, I am so worried!!!!

VUT, please start your own thread, this one is for da51ngh's problems.

Disappearing windscreen tickets and missing NtK's seem to be happening an awful lot now with UKCPS. Looks like Hasbeen has thought up another wheeze for trying to dodge PoPLA. Do we need another variation on the template whereby he is required to provide proof of posting of the NtK?

    hi guys - update time

I sent off the second template letter for the 2nd NTK they give me (although the NTK seemed a little different this time)

Anyhow I'm a little worried. The first template worked fine as mentioned previously but this time i have got another letter stating:

DO NOT IGNORE THIS NOTICE: IMMEDIATE PAYMENT REQUIRED.

It has now increased by £25 to a payment of £125 asking to be paid within the next 7 working days.

It also states if I fail to comply with this, I could exceed costs of £325 by going to court etc. I do not want to go to court nor have the time (i also fly out to USA this sunday for 8 days so need urgent aid)

    What do i do???

Theres also a "typical breakdown of costs following court action" shown too:

    Original amount: £100
    Prepation of court papers: £50
    Court and Hearing Costs: £50
    Expenses £125.

As ever, all your guys help is welcomed and appreciated :)

Do what you've already been told to do and follow the advice in the 'NEWBIES' thread.

If that's from UKCPS (and not from a debt collector) it's a LBCCC so I am thinking that the 'strange NTK' you mentioned wasn't a NTK at all. Have another look back at it, I am thinking you appealed this one too late for POPLA.

See the 'LBCCC fightback' thread for how to respond. It's one of Crabman's forum stickies collated by him near the top of the forum.
