Good morning all
Feeling better after a reasonable night's sleep! So far this morning I have decluttered a cuppa, hung out some washing and watered some plants. Blooming slugs have been nibbling my lupins
Apologies to Midlands Flyladies who were looking forward to a possible meet in Birmingham during the Easter hols, but I'm not able to organise this now. DH has finally had his horse piddle appointment come through for Thursday (waited nearly 3 weeks to hear
) so we are concentrating on getting the house and garden finished before that, and then I don't know what the following week will bring. Hopefully the lump will turn out to be just a side effect of his medication and nothing to worry about, as happened to him previously, just before we met.
:eek::eek: Major frog alert - I must finish the bits for the church notice board by 9:30!!!
ETA: Forgot to send commiserations and job-finding vibes to charlie's DH.0 -

They freeze fantastically well which is vital because they are seriously rich. I don't muck around with icing sugar, and I serve them with either homemade yoghurt (or whipped cream) and something dark and fruity from the freezer (cherries last night) or whoopsied raspberries or blueberries - whatever's available.Better is good enough.0 -

Shower room s/and/s'd, double room changed, dusted and vac'd, stairs from basement up to kitchen, front door lobby and airlock vac'd. The lodger walked Mrs Dog, so that's her walked three times already today - OH x 1, me x 1 and Lodger x 1. She should be pretty okay with the Dog Sitter stepping into the breach tomorrow night, and then stepping back out again on Tuseday for the Lodger to take over - she is a dog who loves her routine and is very worried about changes so I figure if she can come home to me a few times when she's walked by someone else, when I'm not here a few times it won't be the worst shock she's ever had. New theatrical type arrives at about 6.30pm tonight, so everything's ready for him and I can now stop. At last.Better is good enough.0

He didn't have any excuse this time as we need the money. He's still devastated! Need to sort an ariel before they cut it off on the 12th.
we cancelled sky about 3 years ago and ours stil;l works as a free view box, obviously you don get as many channels but still loads of choice so dont worry about an ariel.

Doing quite well. Dining room all clean and tidy, if I can religiously do a HHC on the sorting in here everyday this week then I could be further forward than ever in here.
DS1 has cut the front grass, I've shuffled the soil around the pots, patched up the back lawn and emptied the leaf mould into the pots/veg patch and emptied a tray from the wormery. DH will created the wood store, oh it has gone wrong, he is in in a foul mood now. To the washing up for me and a cuppa before getting the washing in and finishing deadheading daffs. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
