googled and found this dancemum

The safest way is usually to add about 1" of water(with cream of Tatar or baking soda, if you have it) and bring it to a simmer. It should release from the pan with slight scraping with a spatula after the pan has been simmering for a few minutes.

KH picking up the rocking horse shortly.. it isn't safe for the children to play on and I can't afford to get it sorted so it can go there where my tiddlies won't hurt themselves on it. I am asking if he wants to take the sewing machine as well.. it is huge and heavy and in the way and unused so it may as well go too if I can get him to take it, even better!!!

That will leave the changing table and a double pushchair to find homes for and the cabinet is going to live with my sister when she moves in a couple of weeks, I may be able to foist a small sofa on DS1 when they move in 2 weeks too.. I cannot wait!!! BIG things leaving the house is so much more satisfying than stupid little binbags of formerly hidden stuff, I may even have rom in the back room to get the remaining stuff organised and get the flooring in there sorted.. I want laminate down to absorb some of the step into the kitchen so need to start doing BIG saving again.

I need to increase my weekly mortgage payment as well which is going to be difficult. :( I also have to find pennies to cover 3 lots of music tuition, 5 residentials and the new uniform! Anyone want to buy a kidney?

Yes he's right now we have gone digital though newer TVs have freeview built in most old ariels are not able to pick up the signal.

I usually find turn everything off at the mains for 10 mins then switch everything on again works.

Alternatively you can try a complete reset but you lose all recordings.

Left out loads of washing which has dried and some has been ironed.

Made a start on the Easter jobs with an hour's gentle weeding.

Our telly is two years old, connected to an outside aerial and has inbuilt freeview. I just plug it in and switch it on. Mind you, I don't watch it a lot :rotfl: but I'm not willing to pay for any of these tv services/boxes.

Got diverted today to eat a frog. It was sooo nice outside so went out and cleaned up the balcony, emptied the flowerpots and boxes, took down the wall shelves, plant boxes and mirrors and cleaned and took up the artificial lawn matting. Took me about two and half hours. This means it's ready for prep and paint, so DH has no excuse the next nice day not to make a start

Had to go to bank x 2, get a bit of shopping and go to library. Then home to make baked spag bol, garlic bread and herb salad for dinner, WUDUPA and then on pc and do some surveys.
Finish on here now and off to bed.

Hope you all have a super weekend

Morning all, Just a quick post as need to take the girls to swimming lessons.
Managed 2 loads of washing yesterday, living room and hall swept and sort of tidied.
Had to go fetch some fish food so had a wonder round the R@nge and only bought the food.
Had a visit to CAB to see what happens next. I didn't know if he had to wait for his redundancy to run out before we could sort anything (but he has had nothing for that so we have no idea what he's going to get yet)
Made DH speak to the man at sky so that I could cancel it. I've been trying for a while but it's in his name so needed him to give permission. He didn't have any excuse this time as we need the money. He's still devastated! Need to sort an ariel before they cut it off on the 12th.

Today we are going to make a big start on our bedroom I think. been sorting it for weeks and not getting very far but now there is no excuses. We have 2 weeks with no work, school runs...
Need to do some more washing and catch up on the list too.

Right better go wake some kiddies and need to let the place they swim at know this will be the last set for the girls for a while :(

I didn't get back on here Thursday as I collapsed into bed, following a marathon jungle clearance in the front garden with a hedge trimmer (grass should not be 18 inches tall and look like it has a 70's comb over ) got 11 outside windows washed on the ground floor, plus porch, garage door and all the lower soffits, fascias and guttering......my use of a squidgee definitely needs more work as I will need to buff off some squidgee lines before the NZ family arrive tomorrow.

Couldn't get the screws off the blinking microscopic electric hover mower, bunged in car to get EX to sort yesterday.

Collected EX took the little's Skints to the burial ground to tidy Grandad and Grandad's Secret Gardens, wash the naughty rabbit footprints off their granite plaques and feed the assorted waterfowl and fish in the large pond there. I hate being out in public at the best of times, but with two little ones having an extra pair of adult hands is a must!

EX managed to get the screws off offending lawn mower but parts are the wrong ones, cos this model is about 20 years old it has been superceded by one that has the same name, but completely different blades which are not compatible. I am so tempted to sling in the bin as it can't perform the miracle I need by tomorrow, but the hoarder inside me is saying hold onto it and speak to Flym0 direct and order some for next time.

    arrgh...

Couldn't sleep so after Crushing some Candy, I came down and made a start on deep cleaning the kitchen, including spot wiping ceiling and walls as I went round.

Time to get some more off listy.....I was hoping to wash LR carpet before NZ family come tomorrow, but it will smell like wet dog if I do it today....might have to try some Pink handbag shake it on and scrub it in..........

Has anyone used the Pink Handbag? Is it any good?

The cold never bothered me anyway
