My own insurance allows me to drive other cars but has a term that the car must be insured in its own right also so I'm sure my relatives insurance would say the same making it invalid.
Not keen on taking it without insurance of some sort though, just don't like the £30 price tag for what's a ten minute journey.
And not sure if I've missed a trick!0 -

Most but not all. For half a mile I'd risk the mot.0 -
Pop it onto a trailer and tow it, as long as your total train weight is less than 3.5ton and the trailer is not heavier than the towing vehicle you are covered on your licence0

The trailer itself can't weigh more than 750kg and a fiesta will be more than that alone.0 -
Category B
You can drive vehicles up to 3,500kg Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) with up to 8 passenger seats (with a trailer up to 750kg).
You can also tow heavier trailers if the total weight of vehicle and trailer isn’t more than 3,500kg. The fully loaded trailer can’t weigh more than the unladen vehicle (this only applies to licences issued before 19 January 2013).0
