Yes it is a scam, the dishwasher tablets were above the special offer sign but as they had 38 tablets instead of 45 they were twice the price of the offer ones, there were no packs of 45 and no room for them.0

So you think it was a deliberate tactic from the head office instructed to all stores?0 -
Well I'm back to tell the 3rd part of this discussion.
In this morning's mail there was a letter from Lidl, saying they are very sorry but unfortunately due to an error the Easter Hen was re-advertised to be on sale in stores on the 3rd April. But they had not stock to replenish it from 13th March sales. As the 13th March was the actual date the stores got their stock of the Easter Hen's.
By way of an apology and a gesture of goodwill, they have sent me a £5.00 voucher.
They also thanked me for bringing this matter to their attention.
Result, well sort of I never got the Easter Hen's but I did get a free £5.00 so a result.
Very glad they replied to me, and was not expecting any freebies.
Thank you Lidl.0 -

Can I entertain the thought of mistake perhaps!!
Or do you want to live in your dreamland where you can wonder around moaning for the sake of it because you think everythings a scam?0 -

Aldi and Lidl both put their products below the signs. Most other supermarkets put them above the sign. A quick look at the packaging would tell you that the ones above the sign were the packs of 38. Was there a sign above the packs of 38 saying dishwasher tablets?0 -

Actually this is very common, people don't look at the right sign. They'll be a logical explanation for it not the scam idea some would love to think it is.0
