Apparently we should be receiving another letter in the next day or two, further clarifying the facts around deposits and withdrawals.0

Any idea what it is going to say? Good news, bad news or indifferent?0 -

When I spoke to them this afternoon I was told an e-mail was to be sent out today. I tried to get more information but he claimed not to know the contents of the message!
Also I will not be surprised if no message is sent out, as I received an e-mail from Mike Grimsdale Operations Manager , last Friday and he said a statement was to be released on Monday 2nd , which of course never happened. A further e-mail to him yesterday went unanswered.
I know funds are covered by FSCS, but I now just don't trust these people they seem unable to handle their financial affairs and their communication or lack of it is terrible.
I will definately be withdrawing my money once( if ever) the restrictions are lifted. The extra % interest is not worth the uncertainty we have been put through.0 -
me too, my money will be gone......................0

They are either working late, or yet again promising an update and then failing to stand by what they have said.....
I doubt we will be receiving an e-mail update today - but I may be wrong!....0 -

If anyone does get the email can they give us an indication what it says.
From past experience I get most of their member emails – but not all – and they seem to have different mailing lists. You would hope they have an accurate membership list!0 -
It looks like they have launched their new website.
I just wish they had spent the time and money getting everything in order, rather than re-designing their website.
The reference to restrictions for deposits and withdrawals is no longer mentioned, neither are their ISA's.0 -

The website seems quite similar - with just a change of font. And the accounts login remains the same.
The old ISA links also still work as well.

The only account which can be added to at present is as we know your basic share account - which is covered here
http://www.dotcu.org.uk/creditunion/savings/member-basic-share-account.html
That webpage contains the following warning
"A minimum of £10.00 must be held within the Basic Share Account whilst membership is active. Failure to retain this minimum balance could result in the account being closed and membership being revoked." -0 -
I'm not adding another fiver, they can kick me out and give me back my money along with the interest I have earned in the last 9 months :beer:0

I see they have their Twitter feed on their home page - perhaps an opportunity to ask them questions?0
