You see the name of the person that posts but not what they say. You can also view the post if you really are itching to see what they've said.
Ah, I see, I just assumed their posts didn't show at all. Thanks, you learn something new every day. I think it would be better if you didn't see anything though. How could you not look?0 -

I've never heard the phrase Jesus Lord as a sweary type phrase. Jesus wept, jesus christ, christ almighty yes. But not jesus lord. Maybe a regional thing.
Oh you've gone and done it now! There'll be people fainting right, left and centre when they read that litany of obscenities :shocked:0 -

Maybe I might get put on block en masse for my cheek?0 -
Pauline, I was thinking more of 3 or 4 year olds. They do steer clear of the child who is always getting told off because he uses bad words.
When they are 9 or so it's probably the complete opposite.
Maybe I'm more sensitive about words they'll be told off for using because both of mine had speech problems, and I was so delighted when they finally started to speak that I didn't want them to be punished for using a word they didn't know was inappropriate in a classroom.
Eldest was punished for saying 'bloody' once! And he hadn't even said it, he had initially said 'goody' when they were playing a playground game of goodies and baddies, then when another child accused him of saying bloody he said 'I didn't say bloody, I said goody' and then when the teacher that had been told about his language asked him if he'd said bloody, he admitted that he had, because he'd used it when he denied that he'd said it in the first place! Daft child!
Anyway, back to whatever the thread is about nowI used to be an axolotl0 -

I think the thread has been pretty much concluded as the op spoke to the centre and they said they'd keep an eye on things.
Obviously that doesn't mean the thread necessarily needs to stop, but there's been a resolution of sorts.0 -
I had a similar incident, years ago, when I was sat in a college library and recognised a nursery worker sat next to me. She was talking to her friend about a 'nasty' child she had to look after at the nursery. She named him and was speak derogatory about him. I was not impressed that she would be unprofessional and discuss a child in detail in a public place. I spoke to the nursery manager and requested that this person did not have contact with my children, otherwise I would pull them out of the school.0
