But the thing is, no one mentioned saying it in front of kids/kids saying it, it was another phrase by IrishRose that was picked up yet again by another member, and another big deal was made of it. She'll be paranoid about saying anything at all next....0 -
Jeez what a thread!
Must admit I did chuckle at the atom/adam mix up! I mishear things all the time and make my own words up to songs, just seems very suspicious which 2 posters thought atom was the correct saying. I would also love to see a screen shot of this facebook page with the majority thinking atom was the well known saying! Sorry finding it hard to believe to be honest.0 -

If I used that expression at work I'd be on a disciplinary and rightly so.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

And we're not talking about a child here. If a grown adult wants to say "jesus lord" on a public forum, they can do. People are free to take offense if they want to but they shouldn't expect others to refrain from using words that they find offensive because of their own beliefs. If none of us were allowed to say anything that some other person might find offensive, then we'd never be able to say anything.
Swearing generally isn't against the law either!0 -

Just as well, or I might fail my next police check:rotfl:0 -
I've never heard the phrase Jesus Lord as a sweary type phrase. Jesus wept, jesus christ, christ almighty yes. But not jesus lord. Maybe a regional thing.0

If you have someone on ignore you can still see that they've posted. (Sure you dont need me to point that out). Unless you don't have anyone on block.0

You see the name of the person that posts but not what they say. You can also view the post if you really are itching to see what they've said.0
