Have you seen this post over on the Las Vegas thread?

Just me throwing out an idea again, please ignore it if it's of no interest.
BTW even if you hate the idea of Las Vegas itself, there are quite a few excellent places to visit in the area."Such an enormous country, you realize when you cross it" - Jack Kerouac0 -
Why do you want to go all inclusive? You're paying for all the people who want to spend all week drinking. Unless that's what you want to do, you'd be cheaper going self-catering/camping etc etc. Also, if you're making the effort to go abroad, what's the point of not getting out and about and seeing the place? No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0

We want a sun holiday, where we can get all our food and drink included so we can spend what little spending money we have on a nice restaurant/night out one night.
I've travelled around the world so there's not really anything in the Spanish isles etc that would appeal to me adventure wise. We just want a break from our lives and a decent guarantee of sun.0 -

here we go again, people ask for advice and instead of the help they ask for, they get questioned on why they want to go all inclusive,i wondered how long it would be before someone spouted.
so apologies op for going off topic.
i always now go all inclusive, i do not drink all day and night, i do not eat non stop and surprise surprise! i do get out and about and see the area and attractions, i have drinks out and occasional meals out. i go to good quality all inclusives and do not see people just drinking all week.
i am happy with the overall cost of my holidays.
i have stayed many self catering, camping. half board holidays for me all inclusive is good value.
its down to choice. i along with a lot of other people choose all inclusive,0 -
Yes it's also less hassle too. I want to be able to hang around the poolside and go for a swim and not have to worry about having my wallet/cash on me to get a drink or an ice cream.0

Like I say...try sunmaster - have a play with flights and accomodation - it can be done but check tripadvisor first x0

I'll second the good deals on Holiday Hypermarket! I'm not sure how this would work for July but if you book say 4 weeks before you go then you could get a real bargain. Last week I found a few AI for April (but for 2 weeks), decent hotel (Riu or Mercure) ... coming up just under £800 & £1000 for 2 people. Just keep searching, finding a good hol is hard work - good luck!0

Yeah that's our plan, we're going to wait until a few weeks before to actually book, but gauging it all now is a nightmare.0

Fair enough. But it was the OP who was complaining about the cost. If he can't afford it, then he needs to do something else, so I was questioning what it was about all inclusive that he liked. Which might help him make a choice that he can afford.
But if you want to go round the 'I want all-inclusive but I can't afford it but I want it but I can't afford it' cycle, be my guest. Just trying to help.
And I've been around the world a couple of times myself, but I still like getting out there and seeing the place I've spent my hard earned cash going to visit. No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0
