Funnily enough I've just moved for both fuels to Ebico _from_ nPower, and am eagerly awaiting a final bill from them or, in fact, - this being nPower - my first gas bill! :D

I made my choice after checking the individual unit prices, as I prefer to make my own calculations, and the information was available on the website in a convenient form. If the site has changed and it is now less convenient it would be a shame but not a cause for hysteria and amateur dramatics. I'm with Nada666 on this one, which is a rare event, I can tell you!;)

OP If you look on other suppliers sites they all now ask for a post code and give tariff information in a very similar format. The changes on the 31st of March may be the reason.

The strange thing is is that most of us (I suspect) agree with Walkon's core point. But they have managed to phrase the thread title in a silly way and their posts are... well, you've read them!

There is nothing wrong with the thread title or the topic. It's about the website not showing the unit prices and in an easy to compare and readily available format.

So awful website and poor service is correct. Just a shame the trolls on here try and twist it and others thanking the ebico shills.

I have provided photo proof of what ebico used to do and now removed it from the website. It can’t be any simpler than that.

I urge other customers like me, who want to have the details, as I said above, to call ebico and complain. You need to keep calling, as ebico are an arrogant lot. Phone number for ebico 0800 4587689.

Badger them on facebook as well https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ebico-Ltd/112467313920

I'm an ebico shill simply because I disagree with you? I've been called a big 6 shill in the past, must be my split personality.

ebico are free to have their website the way they want it. Complain to them if you like, but to call them a "disgrace of a company" is quite an overreaction, and I suspect is what a few people took umrage at.

As said, the unit price on it own tells you nothing. To know what you'll be charged you need your annual consumption in KWh - a price comparison site will do the rest. Why do you want all companies to have standardised websites so you can do it all? That's just strange.

You do, however, have choices. Leave ebico. Start your own energy company with a utopian website designed to your specification. It's not as hard as you think - if economy energy, first:utility and spark can get a license....

And as I said! You need to know the unit price to know, what you are paying and is still important. You chose to ignore that.
I don't need to know my annual consumption as we already know that, so that stupid postcode annual consumption is of no use. New customers maybe yes but it shows how anti consumer, information you really are.

Glad I don't have someone like you, you would not even bother to look at the detail and cost me more.

That stupid postcode annual consumption is what you need to get the best price for your region and your consumption.

I have every confidence I know my way around the energy industry more than you.

The unit price is available. Put in your postcode and choose an estimated usage. How challenging is it?

I don't find the website awful and have never had poor service from them. Does that make me a troll?

I might phone them to ask how many people have complained about this

No a simple unit price list is all I need to know. You don't listen!

Just because you don't want to know your unit only prices, doesn't mean others should have that informaion to hand.

Now why would I go to a corrupt, useless and incompetent, gutless regulator, who is in the pockets of the energy industry.

They are all in it together, otherwise we would not have the issues we do.

I've just gone from Googling Ebico to having the unit price on screen within 32 seconds. How long did it take with the old website?. How often do you check their prices via their website?. How much time have you wasted on this?.

:rotfl:I had to see what all the fuss was about, took 20 seconds to find the kWh prices I'd be charged.

    I think if I practised a bit I could get it down to 15 seconds . . who knows maybe 10 . . . :j

Really don't understand what the problem is
