NSD #5 for me. I'm finding this month a lot tougher than last month. I'm going to have to try extra hard to make my target this month.

I bought a clip frame for a lovely poster I got for my birthday. There I was, on the kitchen floor, putting this poster on the board and positioning the glass on top of it...so far, so good.....then had an almighty fight with the metal clips, they just would not go back on properly. And just when I thought I had it cracked.....oh yes, I had it cracked all right, a great corner chunk of glass had broken off......SCREAM!!!!!! Over a tenner I paid for that frame, wasted!

So, it's back to the hunt for a frame - this time a proper traditional style frame, not one of these stupid clip frame things.

So yes, it was a spendy day, and not a totally successful one, but at least OH and I had a good tidy up session in the front garden, giving all the shrubs a good haircut...looks right nice, it does.

Back to the NSD quest tomorrow!

Nargle poss a bit late now but I believe you can get those clip frames with perspex glass instead of proper glass - I'm sure I had some posters up when I was a teenager using those in case they fell off the wall.

Well a busy day here, boot camp this morning, a wash out and seeds that I planted yesterday out in the sun too. Busy one at work and not a NSD again - I seem to be succumbing to silly spends. Popped into Tacto today to get a present for a friend who is leaving work this week, then ended up getting cat food (on offer and mog would have needed it this week) and some lamb mince for shepherds pie as I'm craving lamb atm and have some spuds to use. BUT those could have waited in theory. Then again, I would have had to buy them anyway. Just not sure what is / isn't a real necessary spend atm and worried about falling down that slippery slope again. But sometimes it is a struggle to complete an entire list in one lunchtime when things build up.

Tomorrow I need to get the car cleaned (yes in theory I could do it myself but we have no hose and it would mean carting water backwards and forwards - I hoovered it out today and didn't have it cleaned at the weekend as it was needed for garden stuff BUT I'm going to a funeral this week and don't want to turn up with a grubby motor. Couldn't get it done today as had to go round to DM to collect something which took me away from the car cleaners - see, everything just seems disjointed atm.

    Hi everyone,

i would love to join this challenge. I have only one very affordable debt but i would love to be able to clear this quicker, i need to work out our household budget to see where things stand, i know that i waste a lot of money on craft things.

I have been keeping a spending diary since the beginning of the year so i will be able to back check my NSDs from the beginning of this month.

I am going for 14 NSDs for April, so far i am claiming NSD no 1 for today.

Spendy day tomorrow as i am off to my craft club. i will consult my spending diary and give an update in a day or two.
My plan is to only include spends that come directly out of my purse and not include DDs etc.

    regards

Tooties - welcome to the thread, and good luck with the challenge. The thread angels will add your name to the list of challengers and give you the official welcome later.

As for me, a cheeky little NSD number 7 has found its way into the Cauldron of Doom.
