Does anyone else get to the stage where you just want to throw it all away and start again? I've got so many things I know I won't use - cheap nail polishes I've used once, a few bath things etc - but they never seem to go on swaps (I can't even give them away and Lord knows I've tried!) and charity shops won't take them. But then equally the stubborn side of me thinks that chucking them out would be 'giving in' or admitting defeat somehow! So not really sure what else I can do with them other than have them sitting in the stash for years..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

Urgh! Took my car in for a service yesterday and a buckled alloy was discovered! Alloy alone, without a new tyre or fitting is £423! The cost of having a VW eh? Luckily my insurance will foot the bill and I have to pay the excess only of £210. Unfortunately I don't get a courtesy car until the car is in the shop so have to hire a car for the next few days as I have so many places to be before Sunday and not a hope in hell of getting to most places via public transport, and the govt want us to be green? Fat chance!
Potholes are to blame for this alloy as well, they're chronic around here, so I shall be writing a letter to the council telling them to pay my insurance excess, they won't of course but I shall enjoy writing the letter!Lovely to see lots of new and returning faces, this is a great place to hang around:D
