  • Ok OH has just agreed to me using the £1 rule, £2 for make up and £5 for perfume but not on samples as i get 2 beauty boxes and freebies a month and we aren't rich :(
I'm saving for a bottle of Bvgari, i can't express the level of love i have for the perfume so it's on my number one want list but i have to earn it as i have lots of perfumes x

I get Love me beauty & Glossy Box. Possibly why I have so many samples! Could take me a while to list that little lot.

Counted my nail polishes earlier. I have 89 not including top coats, treatments & base coats.

I am actually looking forward to doing this now I have this thread. I am going to go cold turkey for 2 months. I can handle it. Honest

Ps wheres the naughty step? Just in case. Near purchase incident already

166million, sorry that I missed seeing your post earlier about the shampoo and conditioner.
Your special bottles fall outside being toiletries, they have become something quite different.

For many years I grew a plant in my garden that wasn't particularly attractive, being a rather plain yellow daisy, but the very last thing my mother and I did together was to dig up some of this plant in her garden to stock the flower bed in my still rather new house.

A lovely artistic friend of mine gave me a birthday card one year with the flowers painted on the front. The flowers eventually died back in a harsh winter but I still have the painting.

It's not healthy mentally or physically to keep everything, but some things we need for much longer than others.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Hello, I flopped in fe band march and instead of staying with the thread I gave up as I knew I was purchasing too much!!

April I am determined to stay with the thread and use up stuff I already have in my stash!! I really can't think of anything I don't have and would need to buy!!

Although I'm in naughty step already as yesterday ....

I bought three tubes of intensive mask from James brown range, normally about £9 got the for £3 in woopsy section in boots and 3 for 2 so should have been £18 but got for £6... Result I love James brown!!

So I have everything in my stash with no great gaps. I want to change my skin care but I am determined to use up what I have before I replace it....

    Good luck ladies :):)

Welcome to all the newbies, nice to see so many new preople joining us!

I too love reading everyone's stash lists :)

A couple of quick UUs to mention:

    74. Philosophy Vanilla Cake Mix 120ml - WMBA if on a sale as good as this one was! Lovely scent and lather but kjust too pricey for everyday use IMO.

    75. L'Occitane Cherry Blossom hand cream 10ml - this was the FB freebie, nice but probably WNB as I have a hand cream glut!

I also forgot to mention some INs that I brought over from my present stash at the weekend to replenish my stash of minis (get through these sooo quicky at the gym and they're poor VFM to replace individually):

    81. S&G Clean on Me 75ml
    82. S&G Calm One Calm All 75ml
    83. S&G Righteous Butter 50ml
    84. S&G Scrub of Your Life 50ml
    85. S&G Hand Food 50ml (not yet opened but not holding out much hope that this will not have gone off!)
    86. S&G Girligo 100ml

    I've updated my March numbers
    MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)

Thanks SeasideDreamer and Moneyless Mac, I think a quid per item is doable although I might drop to 50p for sachets as I have a lot! Hoping to get through the bulk of them this month :)

Oh my god this thread is fabulous. Every month since I don't know when I have said I will not buy cosmetics or toiletries, and use up my huuuuge stash. Every month I fail.

You ladies have fabulous taste. So many lovely products.

Will have a rummage through & catalogue mine. I'm recovering from an op & bored silly stuck at home so will enjoy this :)

    Do it Do it
I found it so tiring typing them all up but its a positive step, shows you that you don't actually need anything new

  • I have soooo many skincare items in my stash and I hardly ever seem to use up any products. I do however seem to finish up items that I don't have any more of, hence my stash going back up again! I can see both my handcreams (the one at home and the one at work) are nearly all out so that means two new purchases are on the way. Meanwhile I have so many bloody face masks cluttering my bathroom!
    No more goo hoarding!
