A UU :jeventually, got lots of things spluttering and standing upside down but finally this has gone - it's the Home Bargains Philiosphy shower gel copy, a LHJ and at 89p good value but at the moment WNBA just because I have lots of lovely of shower gels
to UU up first.
Tried it because someone on here suggested it and as a shower gel it's perfectly ok and a good price.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I'm nowhere near cured of my toiletries addiction but my ins are slowly decreasing as I feel bad about the amount of stuff I have, having it all on show now helps with that. Plus I think I've almost come to the limit of things I want to try out for myself.
I am in a similar phase and feel quite a lot more content with most of what I do have and no longer in such a great rush to use up stuff just for the sake of it. I am overwhelmed with just vast quantities of certain products such as face creams, so it's easier to resist those things if I think about how long they will have to sit in the queue of other stuff that has to be used first.
It's been ages since I had a UU so I went and raided my drawer for something small I could use quickly and tick off the list - Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash 30ml this was just a little sample GWP bottle and nothing special. I would not pay the price for this as an everyday shower gel and this wasn't at all luxurious and didn't smell that great.Mortgage
Start January 2017: $268,012
Latest balance $266,734
Reduction: $1,278.450 -
Morning ladies - no UU to report but 1 ebay out.
Have painted my nails with A England Guineveve topped with Emily de molly Bellisima on a couple of accent nails. No more buying toiletries0 -
Another UU today: Nivea Soft Moisturising cream. Was sorting stuff to take with me to the parents next week and realised it was almost empty, so finished it off! Probably wouldn't buy it again but it's a good all-purpose thing.
Someone mentioned an S&G offer recently - can anyone remind me if it was a discount one or a multibuy, please? Really want another peaches & clean cleanser, but only one!New graduate trying to get debt-free.
Make £5/day challenge: August £84.08/155
I owe £5400 (plus £34,000 Student Finance)

1 in a free mini maybelline foundation which I will add to stash for holidays.....am fed up waitng in for DHL delivery of my Clarins goodies, they sent an email at 9.30 saying it was on ther van at 10.19!the van had already driven past my house by then.just called customer service(all automated!) and all it says is it is on the van.If I miss it I have to drive half an hour to pick it up or wait in another day for it....much prefer the firm that has Roland on a tracking map!!!Still not got my beauty bible stuff and am annoyed with DS2 who does consumer pulse surveys and earns lots of money which is still sent to me and then I have to spent over £6 to post on!!!(they threw me off when he joined......did tell him last tiem to send me the postage but he never did!!!)
AND it is raining so can,t even go in the garden, really need to go out so very frustrating day
( that is karma for me spending!!!!)0 -
Thankyou mrs-mp and Catriona, head is fine today apart from feeling bruised (internally) and the usual migraine-hangover fun and japes. I used to be really lazy about taking my face off at bedtime and I thought that was contributing to my blocked pores and generally bleuch skin, but (aside from last night's slip up) this year I have been diligent about taking off all my makeup and using night cream etc before bed, and my skin is still rubbish.
I also received a Maybelline foundation sample in the post today, I haven't even opened the wee box yet, most unlike me, usually I would've ripped it apart and swatched immediately. I too think I will tuck it into my travel wash bag.0 -

Its an interesting point. I go through spells when I fall into bad habits and can't be bothered taking my face off at night  I'm sure the skincare police are on their way...:rotfl:I have good spells too and I honestly can't say I ever notice a different either way in terms of blemishes etc but I am generally very lucky tbh and more suffer allegeric reactions than breakouts. I look at my mum, aunties and grandma I put that down to good genes in the skin department :T
I've been reading not posting again so some traffic to declare:
IN:
Garnier Ultimate Blends The Sleek Restorer Conditioner - Bought to match the shampoo I'd got a few days earlier which I am absolutely loving!
Aveeno Positively Luminous Daily Moisturiser - £3 off the market as OOD, cannot resist a bargain and know dates generally mean very little (unless we're talking S&G Hand Food!!)
Elemis Sking Nourishing Shower Cream
Elemis Pro-Radiance Flash Balm
Elemis PCMC - really looking forward to trying this
Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Scrub
Elemis Bliss Capsules
UU:
L'Oreal Preference Conditioner - WBA
Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter Body Wash - WBA
Wilko Bath Fizzer - WBA
Percy & Reed No Oil Oil - WBA - I noticed this running low a few weeks ago and my immediate urge was to replace it before it ran out but decided I'd never get through the stash of other hair products if I did as this became an instant HG for me. Well that was a well meaning mistake, I forgot how fly away my hair generally is without it - found nothing to match it so will be looking to source some more later on on Ebay as nothing is worth enduring unnecessary bad hair days!!
Beauticology Vanilla Cupcake Foot Lotion - WNBA - wanted to like this, loved the idea, the packaging (all Philosophys of course...) but unfortunately like most Baylis & Harding products I've tried this failed to deliver. Was very runny, pretty much scentless and just not fit for purpose, so bad that after once use it went into the bin.
DermaV10 Mail Polish Removing Pads - WBA - very convenient for travelling. Sounds blindingly obvious but when I'd marked the bath with nail polish and was struggling to get it off with bathroom cleaner these beauties did the job effortlessly. It just didn't initially occur to me
Finally, Charles Worthington Dream Hair Blissful Treat Intensive Conditioner - WNBA - Not even sure they still do this range? I've never liked any of it TBH the fragrance and packaging have always been lovely but I've always found the products absolutely rubbish. This wasn't even a decent regular conditioner, let alone intensive. I did UU however I didn't cut the tube, I was done with it!!
Have a splutterer or two, I should come out on top this month barring any shopping disasters this weekend!0 -
Ah ha, emsjune, I heard sirens earlier and wondered where they were headed, apparently it was the skincare police :rotfl:
Some more really boring OUTs
UU #68-71: Pure Shower Gel 50ml; last of the minis decanted into the handwash bottle, these stragglers were from the Grand Hyatt in Dubai and I will likely be bringing more home with me in OctoberSmells lovely, actually, slightly gingery scent, didn't try it when we were away as I had my beloved Rituals shower foam with me.
UU #72: Sainsbobs Anti Dandruff Shampoo 250ml; WBA, DH's favourite.
UU #73: Tesco Family Shower Gel 500ml; WBA, cheap and cheerful.
I got seriously rained on today, my hair looks as though I have been electrocuted  Off for a long, pampery shower0 -
glad to know I'm not the only who succumbed to the loccitane sale Kadison... and this is bit enabley but if there's something that someone NEEDED then I'm not doing anything wrong right? There's a code for £10 off a £25 spend at feelunique - WAHANDA10

I think sharing that information is virtually a public service :T
I can confirm it works. Is this where I confess to buying that bottle of Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax. It doesn't count as a toiletry anyway x0
