Glad you both had good holidays Val and Rosemary
Hope FizzWhizz is enjoying her break and that everyone else going away soon enjoys themselves.
I didn't know you could get a specific base coat to use with glitter polishes - may have to try this.
I caved today and bought myself Estee Lauder double wear foundation. I had been wearing Nars Sheer Glow all day and noticed that it had all separated on my skin and looked odd? Don't know whyI wasn't wearing a primer so this may have been the prob.
Anyway, I bought myself the double wear after being colour matched. I managed to resist buying anything else though in order to get the GWP, despite it looking lovely. I also resisted buying the new Bourjois matte lip things that I was wanting to try. So it could have been a lot worse (I am trying to justify it to myself, can you tell?!)
My skin is terrible at the moment. Don't know what's going on with it. Could be an allergic reaction to something but can't work out what
Need to calculate my totals but will probably do this over the weekend.0 -
well done on not buying to get the GWP, i too resisted the bourjios matt lipstick, mua do one the same that i've ordered instead for £3 and if i like it i'll look into the bourjois one0

a few UU to report!
- V05 revive me daily shampoo MBA if on offer
- Shampoo and conditioner tester Garnier ultimate Blends (New one)- Very nice my hair feels really soft, but one I tested was for dry hair and mines more on the greasy scale so probably wont buy again
- Betty & walter Body lotion (Xmas present)- alright, nothing special wouldn't buy again for myself
Will be many more UU this week I can tell :PFrugal Student!!!0 -
I like your style!
I haven't succumbed yet but I want the pink toner and the neurocalm eye, both are over £30 so if I get both I will buy them seperately and get two gift sets.
I have just started using my little Genefique bottles, I have to say I love this! I have some Visionnaire samples which she said to use at night, with the Genefique in the morning but I've got Dreamtone to use first. Can you tell I'm a Lancome fan?
Not being parted from my vissionairre - obviously it's just right for my skin.0 -

Hammyham it looks great and they have some great offers on but i need a more natural palette, it's wedding make up and i'm not sure my ivory dress will suit those shades
Clutterfree any of the natural ones, i know they do 2/3 palettes but none were available on the mua site when i ordered, i'll check superdrugs again shortly
I wouldn't go for the nyx palette. I like most of the colours but only 2 have really good staying power and that's with UDPP. If I was you I'd go for the urban decay instead
It's less flakey than mua but it isn't a great palette0 -
Lancôme is amazing.. I use Dreamtone in the morning & visionnaire at night. The visionnaire made a massive difference to my skin tone & pores. Not so sure about the Dreamtone- when I finish this one I'm giving to use up my stash of serums in the mornings & see how my skin behaves.
Not being parted from my vissionairre - obviously it's just right for my skin.
I have problems with pigmentation and have started getting sunspots (or large freckles), I also already have enough moles to be getting on with so I certainly don't want any new ones! So I use Dreamtone to fade the old freckles and SPF30 year-round so I hopefully won't get any new ones!
I have noticed the large sun spot on my left temple has disappeared completely and the one on my right hopefully won't be far behind, overall my skin looks a lot brighter since using it so I'll probably stick with it for now.
EDIT: Just had a proper look and there are now two on the right, one new one below the old one, so I think the one on the left must have travelled over :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
