No buying unnecessary toiletries April 2014

See, a glitter base I don't have, and would be v useful, my cuticles are all dry and peely so the oil would be useful (urgh!) and I'd use both the nail envys. I bought an alternative to the nail envy and it was a total non economical buy as literally lasts a day without peeling! And also the coloured ones are all ones I'd actually use which is useful (and rare!). Oh god I've basically already decided haven't I! xxx
I found the Avoplex oil made my dry cuticles 10 times worse. Burts Bees cuticle butter or Liz Earle Superbalm are both fab and if I use those my cuticles are perfect.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

whoops dolly already ordered, oh well can give it a go and it might work!!! can pass it on to my mum if it doesn't work for me.
Tiffanyjayne, I got the Urban decay shattered palette on sale from Debenhams for £21? It's not soley eye colours, it has 5 eyeshadows, 2 blush, a hghlighter, eyeliner and lipcolour. I love it so far, I can get both day and night looks out of it and it's not so big that I can't use it to travel. The links underneath

I'm so behind! So busy this sorry, sorry ladies. Mini-update:
UU
67 - L'Occitnae sample of precious cream - bloody lovely. WBA.
68 - impulse very very pink - not sure about the scent but I do like a body spray in summer. I only have one in stash now, so I've graduated from body sprays
69 - Aussie miracle moist conditioner - lovely, but tests on animals. Boo.Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

I have just lifted this info from QVC on Shopping TV site,
OPI 7 Piece Ultimate Nail Treatment & Lacquer Collection
Item Number: 205400
QVC Price: £42.00
Today's Special Value Price £30.48
P&P £4.95
I think I will pass on this, don't need nail envy or avoplex and already have a glitter base coat I bought from Sally Magpies, will watch the presentation and perhaps pick off the couple I might want from *bay at some stage:)
What's the glitter base you have like? I love glitter polishes and have loads. I just hate taking them off and end up using such a harsh remover it dries my nails. I can't really wear glitter polishes to work as I go to court a lot so need to be able to get them off easily. So I end up not often using glitters.
But that TSV is so good. Utterly torn :eek:0 -
tiffannyjane, if you can find the MUA palettes then I would really recommend; I love mine! I've also heard lots of good stuff about the Sleek palettes you can get in Superdrug. I have one an the quality is very nice but unfortunately I bought one with colours that I don't typically wear!
Dolly84, I am so tempted to buy the Naked Basics one! It seems the perfect little palette for me!
1 UU; Jojoba oil. WBA, use for OCM.
1 IN; Biore UV Perfect face milk. Excited to try this! An spf that doesn't look greasy?! Get it on my face now! Tiny bottle though. No more goo hoarding!

INs to declare from today.
2 shampoos and a conditioner from Superdrug. On half price at 99p each at the moment, so bargainous, and Superdrug's own brand stuff is BUAV approved so yay!
I also have stuff to declare from the beginning of the month.
Trilogy rosapene gift set containing rosehip oil, mini day cream and mini night cream. Tried the night cream before which I got in the You Beauty advent calendar and LOVED it! The rosehip oil is very good too, my skin tone seems a lot more even since I started using this about a week ago. Not Tried the day cream yet.
MeMeMe smokey eye kit. I only bought this for the fat cat mascara but with my BIL's catalogue discount it worked out cheaper for the kit so I now have an eyeliner, eye sweep pen and eyeshadow quad too.
Both of these are also cruelty-free brandsNever say never0 -
Just popping in to report a tiny UU - Kenzo Flower in the air perfume sample.
This came as liquid in a sachet, so I decanted into an atomiser, and it lasted a few days! Very impressed. Might think about buying again once I'm through my existing perfumes0
