2 UUs today, Oral B professional toothpaste (just tidying a splutterer of the teens and I can't say I like the taste) and Elvive nourish conditioner, which does the job. I have moved onto a splutterer conditioner Alberto Balsam sunkissed raspberry and it made me gag. I was not aware how much I dislike artificial fruity aromas! On that note I will have to check if Weleda make deos in their wonderful ranges. I have shower creams pomegranate with body oil and buckthorn with body lotion as sets and they are utterly lovely. I like to coordinate my products so the smells don't clashFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

What's the glitter base you have like? I love glitter polishes and have loads. I just hate taking them off and end up using such a harsh remover it dries my nails. I can't really wear glitter polishes to work as I go to court a lot so need to be able to get them off easily. So I end up not often using glitters.
But that TSV is so good. Utterly torn
This is the glitter base, I have only used it a couple of times, cos I keep forgetting it:( http://www.sallymagpies.co.uk/ourshop/prod_2743964-Revolution.html, it worked well.
I wear a lot of glitter polish as it does a good job of protecting my weak nails from knocks etc, but it is a cinch to remove, I am using Zoya remove which is expensive but kind to nails (here is is a recipe for and vid for making something cheaper.
http://loodieloodieloodie.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/moisturize-your-nails-with-acetone.html
http://loodieloodieloodie.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/faux-zoya-remove-plus-video.html)
The failsafe method is, set aside 10/15 minutes, cut cotton pads into 6 or 8 segments (depends size of nails), cut some strips of kitchen foil about 6cm x 10cm. Soak pad in remover, put on nail and wrap up tight in foil, when you have all fingers cocooned in shiny little parcels relax for 10-15 mins, undo parcel, slide pad from base of nail to tip and virtually all the polish will come off easily. I did this yesterday on:-
2 coats of Nail Envy, 2 thin coats OPI polish, thick coat of Nails Inc glitter (plus bits I had to touch up), 1 quick dry top coat, it came off so cleanly, just a quick swipe over with a clean pad and I was ready to manicure.:D
I so want the August drop of the TSV, but not much bothered about the first one:(, need to resist as I am about to begin some complimentary medicine treatment and need to have more spare dosh available for it, sneeks off to look at budget:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. My mum and I went on a cruise with P&O in 2001, I loved it soooo much! We did the med too - Vigo (Spain), Madeira, Lisbon, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Casablanca (Morocco). Casablanca was dreadful and was dropped from the cruise the following year, having only been added for 2001, so a lot of people must have complained! The rest of the cruise was fab, apart from a terrible bout of seasickness on the crossing over the Bay of Biscay!
Here is our itinerary: Southampton, Gibraltar, Provence (Toulon), Florence/Pisa(Livorno) Rome (Civitavecchia), Ajaccio, Corsica Cadiz, Lisbon, Portugal Vigo, Spain Southampton, England
Am really looking forward to this. Last time we also visited Gibralter, Lisbon and Vigo. Not so sure that we will get off in Vigo as there is nothing much there. Did you do any of the planned tours? We only did a couple last time. We visited Morocco from Cannes and went on the trip to the Caves of Drach in Majorca. Thoroughly enjoyed both days. The rest of the time we wandered about ourselves or took the local tour bus.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Alarm is set for 3.30am, I'll be back on Friday, hopefully with a few OUTS to report. Have a good week, all  xxmoneyless_mac wrote: »
Hope you enjoy your break Fizzwhizz - we are visiting DH next Friday near is current place of work in Wolverhampton. We plan on visiting Dudley Zoo and perhaps Cadburys World, we are also staying near MerryHill shopping centre so there may be ins to declare on my return (if we have any money left after our essential visit to the build a bear workshop).Yes, I am going to drive myself mad.....then drive myself to Scotland for 7 hours :rotfl:
Hope you all enjoy your trips away. I've really enjoyed this week with MrM. Went to Trafford Centre on Monday and watched Captain America film. Not a huge fan of him if I'm honest. Think as superheroes go he's pretty dull but it was ok. I didn't fall asleep which is a plus point I suppose. Went into L'occitane and got 2 x free Lavender handcreams. Also bought a full sized tube, tube of Foot Cream and Eco-Refill of Verbena liquid soap.
We then visited York yesterday and today. Got back at about 3.30pm today. Had a fabulous time. Visited Betty's Tea Rooms, York Minster and had a lovely Italian meal. Really liked the Premier Inn that we stayed in (Blossom St North) as it was just outside the City Walls. Didn't buy anything from Yorkshire Soap Company in the end as nothing smelt as nice as the soap I got at Christmas. Did buy some goodies for Emma from Lush so that she can have a lovely soak in the bath when she's back from Iceland tomorrow. Have been following them on Twitter. Got her a Bunch of Carrots, Bunnie Bubble Bar, Golden Egg, Cerdwan's Cauldron and some Tea Tree Tabs. I also ordered the OPI TSV this morning on Auto Delivery. Did pop into JL on Monday to look at the colours beforehand and love the look of the Kermit and glittery ones. Blues don't always look great on me but for the price I don't mind having one that I don't like. It's sold out now so haven't been able to watch the colours being applied.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Biggest focus at the moment needs to be body lotions. I haven't finished one off for a while now.
Me too. The one I have on the go at the moment is awful. It's a Grace Cole Boutique one that my friend gave me for Christmas. It's very runny and doesn't absorb easily. It's a really big tube as well. Can't bring myself to chuck it out.tiffanyjayne wrote: »Firming creams, i need a good firmer for breasts and bums/thighs, i'm losing weight and it's showing on my skin so i need some help but don't know where to start, anyone tried S+Gs latest?
and finally marine cream.....i'm told it's the HG for most people, not sure i need it but my mums just hit 50 and going through the MP, could this help her dehydrated, loose, smoking aged skin? not sure what it does but i'd like to treat her and think this might help cheer her up.
I love the Elemis Neck and Bust Cream but not sure if it firms up. I use it when I've exposed my decollete to the sun.
Re: PCMC I'm not sure this will work well on uplifting skin. I think it's more to combat fine lines (that's how it works for me anyway). You may be best looking at a range like Gatinaeu as I know they have several ranges that cater for all skin concerns. HTH.I have just lifted this info from QVC on Shopping TV site,
OPI 7 Piece Ultimate Nail Treatment & Lacquer Collection
Item Number: 205400
QVC Price: £42.00
Today's Special Value Price £30.48
P&P £4.95
I think I will pass on this, don't need nail envy or avoplex and already have a glitter base coat I bought from Sally Magpies, will watch the presentation and perhaps pick off the couple I might want from *bay at some stage:)
It's the glitter base coat that I'm most excited to try maddiemay. How do you find yours? Will let you all know how I get on with the blue colour as I may end up *baying it if I don't get on with it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. See, a glitter base I don't have, and would be v useful, my cuticles are all dry and peely so the oil would be useful (urgh!) and I'd use both the nail envys. I bought an alternative to the nail envy and it was a total non economical buy as literally lasts a day without peeling! And also the coloured ones are all ones I'd actually use which is useful (and rare!). Oh god I've basically already decided haven't I! xxx
Sounded like it! Did you get it before it sold out?If anyone is up, please talk me out of that Lancome offer......please! I'm waning, very very badly!!

My daughter Emma has a couple of the Naked palettes and loves them. I own the MUA copy called Undressed and the Smashbox Full Exposure. I use them both equally but must say I love the Smashbox brush. It is so soft. I use Benefit Lemon Aid under my shadows. Can't say that I've noticed how long they both last for during the day. Will check next time I use them both.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. So now I've caught up with the thread I have another IN and UU to report:-
When I got home today found the sample of Urban Retreat Exfoliator has arrived. If I like this may look to purchase it to replace Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator. Have checked price and the UR one is £30.00 for 75ml with the Elemis one being £29.00 for 50ml. Did get a 15% off voucher with the freebie tube too. Can't justify this spend this month though which is when the voucher runs out.
UU: Burts Bees cleanser. This was a lovely product to use. Smelt minty and made my skin feel invigorated. Don't want to repurchase it though as I do have a HG Elemis cleanser that works well on my skin overtime balancing out the oils.
Don't have much planned for tomorrow other than collecting some shoes from Debenhams that I have ordered for Emma's prom and collecting Emma from school as they fly back from Iceland tomorrow morning. No doubt will be doing loads of washing/ironing tomorrow evening. Hurrah.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
