thanks Richard.
the price difference between HCS (without RF) and HC (RF enabled) is about 20 pounds only.
there are 2 buttons, one you mentioned can control fan only. there is another one with 4 options to control fan and heat both, so you can turn off heating as well if you don't want it.
buttons are about 50 pounds.
sensor is about 85 pounds.
what i am thinking is why do i need button if sensor can sense humidity and control fan speed automatically.
in fact do i really need even sensor as well? or just keeping on static speed always just works fine, sensor giving no major advantage considering its not that cheap.0 -

Just for extra convenience, the earlier models to u had to get the ladders our and go into the loft to change the speed. Personally I would prefer to boost that's what I have with the drinaster heat I have the buttons to control. As said I can then boost speed as and when I want. A temporary increase in humidity due to showering isn't going to cause major issues when the fan is running anyway. But the boost buttons is useful. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -

Hi, not strictly related to the original thread but struggling to find help.
My unit was previously working well but following having the electric turned off we are having issues.
Firstly it wasn't running, then went to blasting out cold air all wtime. Have tried resetting but seem unable to set to any temperature or speed, it just goes to a setting of 'J' and stays there.
I can't find this in my manual and it is still blasting air too quickly at too low a temperature.
Has anyone any advice?December Grocery Challenge £297.02/£400
November Grocery Challenge £401/£360
October Grocery Challenge £382/£400
September Grocery Challenge £324/£320
August Grocery Challenge £388/£4000 -
