(((Hugs))) for Bossy - freedom isn't always everything it's cracked up to be - and Valli - just think of the work you have to do in the same way you do about cutting your toenails. It's got to be done, no-one enjoys doing it, and you feel super-virtuous afterwards.

Forward planning happening here. I'm still nibbling away at the cane toad I started tackling in January (I think) and am now within sight of the end of it. Doing it has made me realise just how much time and energy I waste worrying about not getting things done and how much better life is when I'm working my way through the monster Frogs. It sometimes *whisper* feels as though I might, one day, actually have some control back in my life.
    Better is good enough.

Thankyou, my downfall is deffo snacks tbh and I don't like eating breakfast either. Hubby and kids are fussy so I need to do me different things that are easy ish too. My new routine after the school hols of working at lunchtime will hopefully help as I'll be a little more active.

I'm bad at not eating breakfast too but 'it kicks starts your metabolism' I just can't eat early on. But I do like cereal so tend to have it as a snack.

If you can be more active it will def. help. When I was working full time and dancing at least once a week I didn't have to watch what I ate but due to illness I've not been active at all so the only thing I could do was change my diet. I'm hoping now I'm returning to work even if only for 2 days a week that it will help - then I can eat more chocolate and cake!

It's getting a bit wild out! But I've been up to town and decluttered some £s. I found some princess armbands for DD! Also got a dustpan and brush, I've swept the playhouse floor and screwed a hook in to hang the brush on :D I think the playhouse might need its own cleaner ;)

I also got a doormat and a very cute wind chime. And some other bits and bobs for our hols.

Oh and I've stripped my bed. So, clearly, I will have to remake it :p

Feel a bit tired now. Do I nap or power through and have an early night? I'm WFH tomorrow so can wake up in my own time. Think I'll power through and sort some paperwork whilst watching TV...

Another large dirty frog has been eaten. DH pulled out the cooker and cleaned behind and underneath. I cleaned the hob, inside & shelves.

It looks like it is on the way out though. A couple of scorch marks on the back.

DS2 had his 6th visit from his befriender, we are no nearer to letting them go out together. One of us has to stay downstairs in case he goes into meltdown.

Aww dancemum bless DS2 it must be so hard for you all X

I've had some lazy time but just done a hhc. Made two beds up, tidied spare room (bit of a dumping ground on that bed) and finished my de-gibbling of the dining room cupboard. I've now got a :coffee: and a pile of paperwork beside me. And birthday cards that want writing.

Then I'll finish sorting the craft stuff.

Am so craving sugar today and trying not to sneak some of the Easter treats :(

hi all, must confess to a lazy day but am feeling better for it. Aiming to clear the carp in the front room tonight whilst watching a film and the GP highlights.

Would appreciate positive thoughts for Dad who, in the last 24 hours, has had phone calls informing him of the deaths of 3 of his friends / long term acquaintances :( He is not in a good place right now :(

Froddy, enjoy your Italian trip: I'm sure it will be very emotional but also very exciting.

Thanks, ionafan - I can't believe how quickly it has come round. I'm excited, nervous and terrified in equal measures!!!

Valli - thinking of you xx It has been done to you and it is not your fault xx One week to go
