Wow, well done Pigpen, very impressive. I need to get some clothes sold on ebay but keep putting it off.

Done a couple of hours of paid stuff. Might do a bit more later if I feel like it. Everyone else is out so I am off to have a dust and hoover while there is no-one else to get in my way. Just noticed that one of my sons friends has got mud on his (nearly new) bedroom carpet. Grrrr. I am hoping it hoovers up, might need your help if it doesnt. Its slap bang in the middle of the room too.

I am doing loads of washing too, tomorrow and Monday look a bit rainy and I will have a couple of loads of football kit to do later.

    Right, onwards and upwards.

Put on 8 lbs since January. Need ideas for simple healthy meals as diet starts on Monday

I tend to count calories. At the moment I'm aiming for 1200 - 1500 a day. I put on 3 1/2 stone in 6 mths. I've lost 10lb in 3 months. Mostly I bulk meals out with veg (they are minimal calories so even if they are a few calories I count them as 0). I think just being aware of how many calories are in things makes you think more.

    Breakfast 200
    Lunch 250
    Dinner 350

+ 400 (milk in tea, snacks, fruit, extra pots at dinner etc)

I'm veggie (eat a little fish if it doesn't taste like fish!). It's looking at your carbohydrate portions. So where as with potatoes rice and pasta. I used to guess a portion. I now measure.

So I can still have nice stuff! So quorn chilli, shepherd's pie, lasagne, curry. Bulk out with veg such as peppers peas mushrooms carrots. Also beans good still have calories but bulk out with less than meat and filling.

I do myself a Quorn escalope (209), sausages or something and OH has chicken breast or pork loin or similar. 100g potatoes each (100g = 100kcal) + free veg carrots cabbage peas etc.

Also I portion meals out quickly so I'm not tempted to have seconds! and freeze.

Rare we have pudding. Currently we have a HM banana and date loaf with a cup of tea (250kcal)

I also have a treat maybe once a week. Pub meal or takeaway. Not in the first few weeks though!

    What do you normally like?

We've been into Birmingham today, had a stroll around the museum, my Dad enjoyed it but the skids were bored stiff :o Walked a fair bit from Moor St, up through the Bullring all the way to Symphony Hall and back again. DS1 isn't feeling very well, keeps having wobbly, shaky, nearly fainty spells, here's hoping he's well enough to go out for dinner tonight. Making the most of our day tripper tickets by bussing it to the station, then traveling one stop on the train to avoid a 15 minute walk to the pub :money:

Flying has been limited to washing uniform etc, I will get back to it tomorrow morning :)

Oh fizz, poor DS1. I feel like that too today. It came on with the cloud but think my blood sugar is low too. Have just had a crust of toast and am having a coffee with 3 sugars in  and am starting to feel less nauseated :).

Hello all. Great news Skinty. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

I am still worn out from working away this week, all the travelling and the effect the smoggy air had on me so today I have forced myself to do the following:

Strip DDs bed and do 5 washloads in total
    Go for haircut
    Do food shopping
    Walk the dogs
    Bath OldDog
    Hoover and mop through house

I was also going to cut the grass but it rained and although it is nice out now, I can't be bothered. I was also going to bake a cake, again can't be bothered.

Think I will remove hairs from chin (it feels like there are more there now than on the top of my head since this mornings haircut - don't cut it too short - she is obviously hard of hearing!) and then think about doing some tea for me (and the dogs).

    Have a great evening everyone.

At last I've done a bit of flying. Wiped down the work tops, hoovered and mopped the kitchen floor, hoovered the living room and stripped our bed. Washing nearly done. Shopping done, pork in the oven, veg peeled. OH just finishing it all off. I'm off to fill in a job application. :j

30 minutes on from my last post and I've done hair removal, put on a face mask and am now in my pjs, so no more flying here then! Will most probably have a rare evening in front of the telly while painting my nails.

rabbit mucked out and bathed. He doesn't look very well.. he is 6.5 and his eyes look weepy and he smells funny.. I am wondering if he is on his way out .. another off to vet on Monday!! The vet is going to think they are all just neglected!! My other 5 furry beasts and 2 scaly ones are all perfectly healthy it is just these 2 that are not.
Back room destroyed.. I am slowly moving around the room vacuuming under things.. I am about 1/4 of the way through.. it is pretty gross.

Pics to be done of sewing machine and when I get to it the rocking horse.. if KH doesn't want them they are going on gumtree.. then freecycle! I will get this hovel under some control... it will kill me!

Girlies fed.. we are getting them away to bed and ordering Chinese I think.
