    Afternoon flyladies

DH has booked our Barcelona trip today :D 'Cited for a city break, just the two of us

Oh wow - amazing city - you'll have a fab time - if you need restaurant hints just let me know. For La Sagrada Familia - buy tickets online in advance so you avoid queues and get there very early. We were about the first through the doors and the feeling and atmosphere is indescribable. It was a bit of a job getting rail tickets from the airport into Barcelona too but we managed:rotfl:
Watch out for bitey insects too in the evenings - I had my very worst bite there (think black fly). Perhaps not so bad depending on time of year - we went mid September after I finished work.

    Enjoy.

I have eaten a frog. Booked DH's MOT and service as he's not done it and I need his car next Wednesday to go and fetch my nephew. I've been asking DH for WEEKS to dig out the paperwork on his car so I know when it's due and he hasn't. So I have now. It took me 3 minutes to find it  why couldn't he do that? Bliddy thing runs out tomorrow.
All booked in now for Monday at 11 and will drop it off on Sunday evening. He can sort himself out from there as I will go to work and have sorted everything else. Grr.
Right, I need to go back to the filing cabinet and get some items stowed away. I also need to get some out. I'm at hospital for my physio tomorrow (finally!) and need to get a new DBS thing done so might as well present all my bits whilst I'm on site for something else.
I may as well pull my finger out and research form for replacing my driving licence. I lost the card when my bag was stolen and will need it for holiday. So frustrating. And expensive!
Some washing to fold and would also like to have a little furniture shift in the back garden- scrap that, it's wet+++! Perhaps tomorrow?
Ok, as it's filing, I can legitimately take a coffee with me :D
If I'm not back in a few hours, it was a pleasure knowing you all :)

ETA: done! Have burned all the confidential bits, put away the file boxes AND put all the bits in the loft. Didn't take too long either so why do I keep putting it off?

Oh gods LW I have been putting off my fasting blood test for the past month or so.. I hate having blood taken, and DH hasn't got any time off in the near future to come with me. I know my Dr will wonder why I haven't had them done..but seriously I just can't do it.
(((HUGS))) Natty. People who don't mind needles just don't understand, methinks. Any chance you could go early in the morning so DH could take you then go to work? Our surgery opens at 07:00 three days a week; my appt is 07:10 on 17th. Normally I'd have just had Mr LW decant me onto the sofa afterwards and then go to work - he's only wfh that day (his boss said it's OK btw:T ) because I have dogs staying then and may not feel well enough to let them outside to pee. Otherwise, do you have a good enough friend that you'd trust who could help you out?

Glad you enjoyed yourself, mummyroys - you'll soon get used to the pace! And I only gave you 2 extra kids, not a whole classfull :rotfl:

In my mind I probably docked 2 kids from Mumto5 as I was thinking of her at about the same time.

Mumto5, did I actually wish you a happy holiday in my earlier post? If not, consider it done now!

Glad you've survived the GP visit, LW :T
mrs-mp, you are definitely on a roll, aren't you

I have crossed about 4 things off my list today and added another ten... and it's now raining so I can test my newly installed water butt :)

i think its jst been let slide over the last couple of weeks with all DHs holiday days and me doing so much dress making so it all needs pulling back into shape again so that little and often keeps it in check.

finally let DD3 take her dress yesterday, i thought id altered it a couple of weeks ago but when she tried to try it on the bust was ok but the waist was still tiny, so i had to put bigger panels in the sides. then it looked fine or her waist but she needed to borrow 'some' of jordan or dolly parton to fill the top. had another go over last weekend and last night it was declared a perfect fit. luckily id by chance got the right shade of toning green fabric in my stash pile and also had a zip so the adjustment only cost time.
got a couple more sewing projects to do but i WILL get the flying under control before i get those out.

drizzling here but ill take the warning that rain is about and fetch my washing in
