Morning all
Lynne and HB I have an OH like that too - training the kids not to follow in his footsteps.
Been for a walk with my friend. Need to go to Mr L which I might do next and fly/paperwork/garden later. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Afternoon all
Did actually get up early and get bathed but I got side tracked in cleaning the bathroom from top to bottom. I spent a good while deep cleaning the tiles by the bath and shower - longish nails have an advantage, you can get right in the nooks with them while having a cloth wrapped around your hand
I'm sure that's not why I had my nails done..but it helps if they have a dual purpose..:rotfl:
Have one wash load out on the whirly gig happily drying and another load going around the machine. Stripped the bed and put the laundry in the basket, will remake the bed tonight after it has had a good airing.
I have a major frog to tackle but it is a hard one, and I need to tackle D and my friend T to give me honest answers regarding it. Not looking forward to it, but I only have another week or so to sort it out and get it in the postI've done the tadpole bit of it but that's not enough unfortunately..lol
I also have a kitten wanting attention from me, well that's when he's not jumping up at the french door window trying to catch the birds outside..stupid kitten. But boy can he jump..he's like a little tiggerMy other kitten, (who's a year older) is getting the hump with him and has started growling rather loudly at him when he wants to play...I think she is growing up..lol
Piggers your pictures on FB of the girls are just so adorable. I can't believe how quickly they are growing up
LW hope the Dr's went ok this morning and you aren't too traumatised by it all.
Oh darn was going to make individual rhubarb pies, with freshly picked rhubarb from the front garden. But I haven't got any cornflour, or arrowroot, and mixed fruit. So have put these on the shopping list for Saturday's shop and will make the pies then
Going to sit and have a cup of tea and give this kitten the attention he wants then shall do an hour of ironing, well once I've had lunch that is..lol
If it's done it's deleted!!!!

Mr A done and I managed to get 2 bankers boxes set which are on clearance £1 a set for 4 "transfer files" and a storage box! I now have 3 sets as the transfer files are £14+ shipping for a pack of 12 and the storage boxes start at £7 each!
So I've paid £3 for £34+ worth of stuff :money: I'm hoping to get organised enough that all my tax paperwork can be filed away in 2 smart boxes on top of the bookcase, instead of 4 lever arch folders (personal benefit letters etc), 3 accordion file boxes (work, invoices & receipts!) and then I might be able to redistribute the stuff on the bookcase to shop it bending outwards
I will get this livingroom less like a library/office :rotfl:
I also got DDs cake, banners, bunting, balloons, magic candles and some wrapping paper but no card. I was not impressed that the only 13 card they had was a skater style one, and ones with daughter on were all pink/floral/fussy or were alcohol themed! Card shop now definitely on my list of things to do tomorrow  If it comes to the crunch I can always nip to town tomorrow after I've run my other errands.
As soon as I've finished this coffee I'm going to get on with my books. I'd rather just crawl back into bed but there you go:rotfl:

A HUGE Thank You to all of you for the posi-vibes and good wishes. The Dr was very nice (she's actually Mr LW's usual Dr's daughter!!) and didn't try to dikk around with my meds - something others have tried, to my detriment; the only downside is she wants me to have a fasting blood test. That's booked for 17th April (the earliest they could give me an early morning appointment for Mr LW to take me before work) and unfortunately, I'm needle-phobic, so that'll be another traumatic time - oh well, needs must and all that. Mr LW is going to ask his boss if he can work from home again that day, as I'll have the Princesses staying; and if today wiped me out (I collapsed on the sofa for the whole morning I'm ashamed to say) then something involving a needle will deffo not be good.just_the_two_of_us wrote: »LW - re dr appt. well done hope it goes OK - I keep on putting mine off
Flying wise.... erm, let's see. Oh yes, Mr LW has kindly scrubbed the loo during his lunch break.:D:A
Oh, and I managed to eat a small cane toad yesterday afternoon; repaired the net bit on the washing trolley which was falling apart somewhat. It's been needing doing for months, and took about 15 minutes.:whistle:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Oh gods LW I have been putting off my fasting blood test for the past month or so.. I hate having blood taken, and DH hasn't got any time off in the near future to come with me. I know my Dr will wonder why I haven't had them done..but seriously I just can't do it.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️
