Indeed. I like to promote good manners too.. but just because they haven't yet popped back in to say thank you, doesn't mean that they won't.
Neither of us have no idea of what commitments of facilities the OP has. And yet you've made a judgment about their manners which was not called for.:www: Progress Report :www:

He has stated his commitments in his only post (not including his one other post from 2013).Indeed. I like to promote good manners too.. but just because they haven't yet popped back in to say thank you, doesn't mean that they won't.

I would suggest that if the OP is taking this attitude into his every day life and any job interviews he has then it is no surprise he is unemployed.
Good point. 0 -
If I were the OP and reading the last portion of this conversation, I wouldn't bother to reply. Blimey - talk about being judgemental ...0

Some would just call it perceptive. If I were the OP and reading the last portion of this conversation, I wouldn't bother to reply. Blimey - talk about being judgemental ...
Come on we all know he was not going to reply, you can tell fairly early whether that will happen or not. He never replied to the person who helped him on 13 Jan 2013 either!0 -
Well I'm sure you have made the OP reluctant to post again for another year too.0

If that is the case then that is probably another reason he is finding it hard to get job. He should be more thick skinned, not everything will go the way you like it in the world and sometimes people may say things you don’t like or don’t agree with. In situations like that you need to defend yourself.Well I'm sure you have made the OP reluctant to post again for another year too.
Also three very helpful suggestions were made less than 30 minutes after the OP started this thread. I don’t believe for one second he hasn’t read them and I don’t believe he hasn’t had time to say thank you.0 -
I've been looking for a job since November since I no longer have to be a carer for my Father and Brother.
I left school early with no GCSE's to care for my Brother and Father 6 years ago, I only have 6 months experience working in a fast food restaurant full-time evenings which I was eventually sacked from because it was too stressful to care for my Father and Brother full time and work full-time.
So now I'm 22, no experience, no qualifications... I need a job and I am an incredibly hard worker I just don't feel I'm ever going to get a job.
Any advice?
As others have said you don't have no experience you have 6 years of caring experience and have also worked in a fast food restaurant.
You definitely need to include on your CV details about what care duties you undertook for your Brother and Dad and explain the situation a bit. You may need to have several different versions of your CV depending on the type of roles you are applying for so you can highlight the relevant skills you got from caring and working in the fast food restaurant.
Also with the fast food restaurant if you worked in a customer facing role where you took orders, dealt with complaints etc that is really valuable experience that not everyone will have.
It might also be worthwhile thinking about what you would like to do long term as it might be worth also looking at studying part time while you are working so you can either progress in the company or move to a job you are more interested in.Starting Mortgage Balance: £264,800 (8th Aug 2014)

There definitely are not plenty of jobs at the moment. Maybe you;ll find that out soon
There are maybe more than you realise. As I posted recently, I've a relative whose a serial loser of jobs, and he's just, again, walked into another pretty decent one that will train him and try to retain him for life. This is a proper job, with good prospects, in the North East.
He's done it three times in recent months. If this lad can (no qualifications, little intelligence), in a "deprived" area then the situation can't be particularly bad.
He's not the only one, I've had other relatives whose factory closed down, and both arranged another job before the last one finished. I've een called today myself and asked to go in and talk to another bank who'd be interested in tempting me to move.
Overall, personal experience seems to tie in well with the official figures, and both suggest that saying that there are "no jobs" is not really right.0
