CF have now released the information about how they calculate information on levels - it's in their support section.

The accuracy percentages look reasonable but, oh man, just 1 flag from a task author and bam - no more level 2 or 3. Apparently they've been using these criteria (in secret) for a few months now, which might explain some of the problems people have been having.

Seems unreasonable, and I suspect that it won't be long before an incompetent or malicious task author creates major mayhem.

Seems completely unreasonable, I'm glad to see they're making changes and the minimum accuracy %s for each level seem reasonable (even if endless crap test questions have put me on the line between 2 and 3), but seems to be yet another example of CF not giving a !!!! for its workers, cause not being allowed even 1 MINOR flag is ridiculous imo. Will really have to concentrate and be careful in every task from now on.

I'm confused, and yes I am blonde :D but in this new system, do you get flagged for wrong answers on the test questions, being expelled on a task, or for something else?

I agree especially with errors in tasks was a time when tasks were more fun to do.

I suspect the flags will be generated if the task author reports that you are rushing through, or deliberately not trying - like the image keyword task, where in the second stage on reviewing the words, quite a few were just random keystrokes. I hope that we won't get a flag just for getting test questions wrong, or misunderstanding a task so you get a lot of questions wrong.

I would also hope that there would be a delay in between getting a flag and the penalty being imposed to give you a chance to defend yourself. But I wouldn't bet on it. Also, if the flags last indefinitely, does that mean that someone getting a minor flag would never ever be able to regain level 2 or 3 again? Seems unduly harsh, and likely to lose them all their best workers over time.

Casino tasks are out at a funny time today, or is it just me ? I'm sure there weren't any left over when I logged on this morning.

Well if anything, it's going to put people like me off attempting a new task in case of being rubbish at it and getting too low an accuracy and surely they want more people to attempt more tasks?
