    2 x ASDA Baby New Potatoes with Herbs & Butter (360g) £2.00 £0.78
    3 x ASDA Chapatti (400g) £7.80 £2.71

The chapatti's were marked at 2for£4 on the cardboard sleeve but multibuy didn't come off at till. Got the difference back plus £2 gc at cs.

That's very helpful. Thank you. Not entirely sure how they get £2.71! MSL says they are 95p at Mr T and 2 for £1.50. But it's good! Especially with the gift card.

Which baby new potatoes are these please? bc?

Really peed off - just rang language school as no t heard what time studnets arrive this weekend to be told they have no knowledge of booking!! Well I do and quoted them the names of studnets and the date they were booke d- over 4 months ago.

This is worth over £300 to me so for them to disappear two days before due is not really acceptable - but of course if I mouth off at language school then probably will be to my disadvantage as will get less bookings form them in future!!!

    Fingers crossed for you. xx

Good Morning Peeps and Peepettes 49.gif

Hope all you lovely people are well.

A special thank you to Savvybuyer for your epic work with the lists :T

I bought some whoopsied bananas in A's yesterday and they compared :o

The Canti Pinot Grigio is now £5.00 in A and still compared at £3.20 in yesterday's shop.

Please can I ask has anyone bought Canti today?

I am thinking that the true cost after APG is actually works out slightly more expensive now but at least we can now buy 4 bottles - or 6 if anyone is a risk taker :D

Many thanks to everyone who posted encouraging replies to my recent 'Is it me?' post. I'm back to seeing the Elite silver linings rather than the clouds thanks to you all!
I've always been an 'all or nothing' person and drive myself crazy trying to be perfect and/or be the 'best' at whatever it is I'm trying to do, without giving myself time to learn things properly and/or make mistakes. However, if I feel I can't be perfect then I usually give up entirely... hence my house is an absolute tip because I realised many years ago that I didn't have the time, energy or inclination to be the 'perfect housewife' (sorry to disappoint you DM, I'm another woman who doesn't use an iron ;) ). This is compounded by my hoarding everything just in case it might come in useful one day. The problem with that is that when the day comes I can't find whatever it is I'm looking for among all the other clutter!:o

I guess part of my lovely DH's concern about my stockpiling glitched goods is that we have very little storage space as it is because the garage, cupboards, spare room and loft are all chock full of clutter! :(

Anyway, not only did all your lovely posts make me feel a lot better about just taking baby Elite steps but they also got me to reflect on just trying to do a little bit to clear some clutter every day - however, I haven't happened to mention to dh that my incentive is that then I will have space to store glitches! :D:p:naughty:

I've read a bit on MSE about decluttering and how to make it manageable so today I have finally cleared enough space in the spare room to place 4 plastic boxes (plus a rubbish bag) and labelled them: sell, charity, mend, put away. My plan is to spend 10 minutes every day to find ten things to put in the boxes and then, as they fill up I can deal with the contents. I'm hoping that starting small will help!

Similarly, I've decided to take the advice on here and just aim to do little bits of Elite shopping as and when I can rather than stress over missing out on every deal posted. I did a great shop in Sada yesterday and got an APG for £6.69 - there were a few 'mistakes' but given that before stumbling on this thread a few short weeks ago I didn't even know that Sada offered APGs let alone how to claim them, I'm quite happy. I'll post my APG shop and results in a minute.

Getting a good (for me, although I know SB, SFSB etc could do much better) APG has really lifted my confidence - again all thanks to you lovely people. The icing on the cake was that I got up the courage to spend the £23 APG my dd got for me (which I'd previously been too nervous to try). I did a muggle shop (but made sure Sada were cheapest and went for all the deals and things I know we will use over time then did as PPs suggested and looked for a nice, young student SA.
I couldn't believe my luck when, as I was unloading my shopping onto the belt a senior supervisor came over and told the young SA that she could go home after serving me and they then discussed how Sada wouldn't be paying this young girl the extra 15 mins she came in early for her shift. As soon as the supervisor went I engaged the SA in a chat about how these big companies really try to screw people for every penny and they always come out on top - of course she agreed wholeheartedly with me! :D We got on like a house on fire - so much so that she was really pleased for me when I handed over my £23 APG and said, "Well done - I wish I could get one like that!" She then processed it with a smile! :j:j:j:j

Those small successes have really helped - I've treated myself to a couple of hours catching up on here - including giving myself an avatar (my gorgeous but crazy little 1 year old spaniel x poodle b 1tch ).

Ok - that's me in a nutshell (more like a coconut than a hazelnut judging by the length of this post)! :D
Thanks again for the sound advice :beer::beer: you are all :A:A:A (well, except for a few naughty boys - but then when I was teaching full time I always had a soft spot for naughty boys! ;) ) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I went for a mooch round sainsbugs.

Didn't find any cheap dreamies or pringles :(

I did find 10p "thank you" chocolates which I noticed were out if date after I'd bought them so they went back to cs.

Shame they don't have an overcharge policy. I'd bought 8 packs of 20p salt (for my chronic slug problem) and they went through at 25p. I had to go back and take a pic of the sel before they'd change the price. Instead of amending the price, they took off an astral hand cream pot at 54p. Result!

I did find some cheap-ish sun cream and after sun but I'll post details of those when I get home as I'm on the public transport home and they are buried

So not an entirely wasted trip but a reminder of how much I don't like that shop :rotfl:
