the best bit about being a hoarder is that you don't remember everything you have so when you find it again its a great surprise, as good as the time you actually got the item in the sale :T
so I was trying to tidy the bedroom, a never ending job and in the wardrobe a found a short sleeved black cardigan, ideal to go over summer maxi dresses and an embroidered shirt, ideal to go over 3/4 length capri pants - no idea when I got these but that's 2 summer items sorted out :T0 -

I must look your age if you don't :rotfl:
Was the 3rd lady 'amply' built with shortish, dark hair? If so, she's a trout in training.:eek::eek:0 -

Catch you all later

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Nenen, I know exactly what you are saying
I too am abit of a hoarder, I put things away thinking that will be of use one day to someone. 5 years later it is still here!!
I've started to clear out, harsh though it is it needs to be done.
As far as stashes go, I've got mine but only go after stuff my family will use. You will get there in the end, as others say, small steps. Good luck
Nappies , Good deal for those in need, but I have had quite a chuckle to myself here. I bought baby bits before my first 2 boys were born but found that the 2nd didn't last long in the new born sizes.
By the time I had babies 3 and 4 there was no chance!! 10.4 and that was in old money lbs !! ouch
I didn't want anymore babies after that lol

I can so relate to the hoarding bit.
I have had to imalgamate my mum's bungalow contents with mine as well as having quite a few stashes. Getting to the end of it...have tried to be ruthless getting rid of stuff but I am far to emotionally attached to loads of things. It's how I am.
At the moment sat in the driver seat of my car is the huge teddy my dad bought my mum the year before he died. It had been sat in his armchair round there. All the furniture without homes went today so it was left sat on the floor. My OH will probably have fit if I sit it on the sofa here.
I used to rush out for every glitch but pick and choose now, so as not to overload my house anymore than it is. The lounge is a stash free zone but the only room that is. :rotfl:
Good luck Nenen. :A
Yes I've got the remnants of 2 houses in our loft - my m-I-l who dies about 7 years ago and my Dads house plus some memory box stuff from eldest child who left home 8 years ago and all of eldest sons possessions as he moves with his job and does not have his own place, not for a good few years yet.
someone once said how nice it would be just to leave the house, lock the door and start all over again in a new house, leaving all the clutter behind. In a way he did that, not long after he died so he did move to a new clutter free house“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
