    Miele. Nothing comes close.

Bosch/Neff/Siemens are the same thing so there is absolutely no way that one will be better than the others.

I received delivery of my Miele g4210 dishwasher yesterday and on reading the book, it does not say how to setup for a half load. My previous dishwasher said to fill the top basket. Does anyone know how it works on a Miele?

Also For anyone that wants to know, the shortest wash is 1:32 mins and this can be reduced by using the turbo option.

My Miele is much older than yours so cant answer your question but call Miele and ask them how to set up half the load. They will probably put you through to technical department .
Well done for choosing a Miele .

Another vote for Bosch. The quick wash only takes 27 minutes, and works perfectly well even on grim things like grill pans and baked-on gunk. The only time I ever use a hotter/longer wash is when I'm giving it a clean out. Oh, and I mostly used the cheap dishwashing powder - I save the expensive tablets for loads that I know are extra greasy or burnt.

I have the same Miele, not sure if the half load is detected by the sensor? Always seem to fill ours so never use it.
I tend to use auto with turbo. Takes about an hour and a half. We preferred the baskets and design of the Miele as it looks fuss free. Some if the bosch/siemens looked very fiddly with lots of plastic folding bits etc.
  • Have just put a load in my dishwasher, and realised it's not Bosch at all, it's Smeg. It's still very good though, and the quick was is definitely 27 minutes.

As I mentioned on another thread, I've owned 7 houses and rented 8 - must have been thinking of a different dishwasher in a different kitchen...

I used to have a Bosch, but as we are having a new kitchen I have given the Bosch to charity. It was about 7 years old and I never had a problem with it.

My new dishwasher is an AEG integrated , but I have yet to try it as it hasn't been plumbed in yet.

I'm just looking for a new integrated Dishwasher as well. I wash looking atg a Bosch or Neff, but there are lots of disgruntled customers who have bought more recent models, whereas owners with older models (7 years +) are quite happy.

Has Bosch dropped the quality to compete with the likes of Beko, what brands are good now ? I was looking at an AEG which seems to get better reviews, anyone got any experience ?

Are Zanussi any good? Getting a new kitchen through Benchmarx and this is the mid-range option. Not sure we can stretch to a Bosch or Miele
